Authentic Vietnamese food that's reasonably priced. There's an indoor air-conditioned seating area as well as an al-fresco dining area outside if you're a smoker.
Flan served with ice & coffee ($3). First time having pudding with crushed ice & it was delightful. It makes sense in our balmy weather. Coffee added contrast to the lightly creamy sweet dessert
Banh mi with grilled chicken chop ($6). Just the right amount of filling to enjoy this Viet sandwich . Many places stuff a lot more to sell at a higher price. Served with chilli sauce (optional)
Fresh rice paper roll ($3.80 for 2) was an easy starter. Rice noodles , prawns & vege all rolled together Dip into their home sauce for a spicy-sweet flavour
Enjoyed desserts here. This is a chewy banana cake ($4.20), believe it or not. Topped with coconut cream & chopped nuts , each spoonful was soft, creamy & fragrant
A quiet , cozy haven for Vietnamese food . To get a taste of authentic Viet home cooking , look no further than Little Vietnam, tucked into a quiet Paya Lebar neighborhood .
Sticky noodle soup ($9.50) was yummy! Sticky noodles had a smooth texture. Soup was savoury. For protein, there were prawns , sliced pork & quail eggs
Grilled pork chop on rice vermicelli ($8.80). Yum! A dry noodle style. Pork & fried spring rolls added savouriness & substance to the bowl
Mini Viet pancake ($7). Enough for 2-3 persons. Tear a piece & place on a leafy veg . Dip into fish sauce & eat. Crunchy & savoury
Order your drip coffee at the start of your meal. The ones here really took its time, trapping all the strong caffeine & aroma in each drop 👍🏼
The carrot cake is pan-fried crisp at the edges, and the braised fish in claypot is very comforting. The beef pho has a rich, sweet stock, but the meat is chewy.
Dessert cooked yellow bean with coconut milk ($3.30) is similar to local dessert “tau suan”. The cooked beans tasted like split mung beans . Served with crushed ice & syrup
Stewed beef with tapioca noodles ($9.40). High protein bowl, with flavourful soup . Served with meatballs & chunks of carrots
Stir-fried bittergourd with chilli & garlic ($6.80). Added contrasting dimensions (bitter & crunchy) to the rest of our savoury orders
Iced lemon grass drink ($3). Refreshing. If u prefer to control the sweetness, let kitchen know as u place ur order
Unlike every other Vietnamese restaurant in Singapore, the menu here is both extensive and properly and fully translated into English
It may not look like there’s enough seating as you arrive, but let staff know your group size. They have another dining space 4 doors away
Pho is very light and good. Braised duck in clay pot is top pick. Bbq prawns surprisingly fresh and grill to perfection. Sugar cane skewer very tasty.
Sliced green papaya salad ($6.80) surprises our table. Very refreshing as a starter. Not overly salty like the Thai style
Great food here! Try the Avocado shake and Vietnamese iced coffee ! Food wise, I doubt one will go wrong with anything... Eat your heart out.
Iced Viet drip coffee ($3.70). Strong flavour & aroma, even with ice 🥇
Very delicious fried spring rolls and Pho .
Sticky gravy noodles with seafood & pork ($9). Lots of vege . Didn’t like the mock crab meat (the small red items) though
Just had dinner . Pho beef slices is good. Prawns are fresh but I do not like the way it's cooked cos there's a funny smell. Chicken wings are ok. Avocado & Tamarind juices are good.
Passion fruit smoothie was delicious, also the banana coconut desert . Prices are cheap , but Vietnamese coffee was so so (not enough condensed milk ).
Authentic Viet cuisine with very busy dinner crowds. Hard to get a seat and have to come early. The pho is light on the palate. Try lemongrass chicken ,fried beef/chicken on noodles , spring rolls
Young bitter-gourd & minced pork soup ($9). Generous ingredients
Clams & lemongrass soup ($9). Clean flavours
Alfresco dining in the evenings. Right next to canal
Beef pho not bad, but still lose to Long Phung & Mrs Pho .
Love the their fried spring rolls there! The freshly wrapped ones are yummy too. Gotta try their com tam. really affordable with a wide variety of choices
Authentic food and even more authentic coffee . Iced coffee is excellent.
Gd one ladies and gentlemen, i have a item for those that post tips here. Its not in the menu ? U all can try if u have a sweettooth. Cafe sua da xem (ice coffee wit ice cream )
Cheap & good. Crowded in the evening. Beef Pho & Fresh shrimp rolls for the win! 🍜 😋
Good authentic Vietnamese food . Terrific variety too.
Authentic Vietnamese drip coffee here for $3.
Try #48, noodles with lemongrass grilled chicken
Cash only , closed on Sundays
banh khot and coffee !👍🏻
Chia gio (egg rolls ) pretty good. Pho tai beef isn't great. Vietnamese coffee is pretty tasty.
The pho was delicious!
Reasonable price but food is not that decent, good plays to hang around with guys, not recommended with your girlfriend
Pretty good Vietnamese restaurant quite better than the few popular ones on Joo Chiat
Closed for any from 16/02 until 02/03. Business as usual on Tuesday 02/03
There's usually a long queue. Be prepared to wait.
Loved their stir fried prawn and cockles with garlic . Delicious and affordable indeed.
Very very very bad attitude and services! Price is also high which you can find very good foods elsewhere!
Kinda crowded . Average Vietnamese food .. Lacking some of the crisp freshness of other Vietnamese restaurants . Good if you like fried stuff though.
Excellent food and really cheap .
