Polite service , fresh fish , overall a great traditional Japanese restaurant . Some of the fancy sushi rolls were too complex/muddled in flavor, but they have plenty of pure & simple rolls too!
Best sushi we had in Hawaii ... (we even went to Sasabune and others). Recommend Ume Shiso , Philly Fry Roll , Yellow Tail ... age tofu and the Ahi Poke .
you can't go wrong with their house special rolls ! the Furikake chicken is delicious, though very salty.
Great sake selection and definitely try the miso butter fish or new style sashimi .

Furikake Chicken was great. Volcano roll was a let down. The fried California roll was surprisingly amazing. Sushi in general was boring but the entrees looked rather tasty on other tables.

The sushi was fresh and good. The teriyaki chicken was awful. Individual sushi comes with wasabi already on it. They include gratuity for parties of 6+. Overall grade: C-

Best sushi in Kona!
The fish was mediocre at best. Normally rolls cover up that not-so-fresh flavor but not here! The sashimi also tasted a bit old. Don't get the soft shell crab ; horrible. Get the beef teriyaki .
