Some of the best fries in the city ! Fried in duck fat and served with garlic mayo on the side. Phenomenal!
The Tavern opened in 1868 and is said to be haunted by a Confederate Civil War veteran who, knifed in a fight, staggered up to the second floor to die in a bathtub that’s still there.
Short walk from Javits, delicious, reasonably priced, and it's reputed to be haunted. What are you waiting for?
