Bento boxes are amazing. I recommend the mixed fry Bento . Food was fantastic. A little slow on serving drinks. Had to ask again for them after a while of them not arriving and then were a drink short

Amazing food - beat restaurant in Leeds . Doesn't take bookings but you never have to wait too long if you just turn up. Ask for a table upstairs for the best atmosphere

Love this place, hubby & I had out our 2nd date here in 2006. Foods amazing, staff are lovely & fast with the service. Although we moved to Surrey we pop back to Leeds for date nights ❤️

Been here a few times. You can't book but it's well worth the wait. Great for dates and large groups.

One of the best places for vegan treats ! Avocado tempura and vegan chicken legs to die for.

Been twice in 2 weeks - had tempura advocado and sashimi with rice first time and loved it. Came back for poem dumplings and more sashimi :)

The tempura avocado is great, the gyoza are lovely, the rokkotsu BBQ bento box is delicious.

I'm a fan of their bento boxes . Quirky interior, getting a bit dated but I'm not sure I'd change a thing!

If you're vegetarian , the Vegan Paradise is divine. Watch out though, sometimes they will say they've included an ingredient which is clearly on the menue (eg, lotus root ) when they actually haven't!

A long time favourite! Been open since 1999/2000 and has never failed to impress, the Gyzo dumplings are a great side order.

Perfect atmosphere and lighting for a date or special occasion , would definitely recommend the bento boxes and the dessert menu .

Chicken curry tastes good and quite unique

One of the best Japanese restaurants in Leeds . The bento boxes are quite decent. However, standard of food has dropped recently and it has become slightly disappointing.

Highly recommend the gyoza as a starter/side and the stem ginger ice cream for dessert .

Bento boxes are amazing

Tofu steak is pretty amazing.. On the other hand, I wouldn't go for spicy eggplant .. It's quite bland and has a weird mushy consistency.

Wonderful food, not too expensive and a brilliant environment.

Consistantly great food, though slightly overpriced. In addition the subdued ambiance is a little too dark for my tastes.

Order the bento box ! For dessert get the gin sorbet - comes in an ice bowel!

Great place to eat, but don't bother going in the last hour before it closes! Rushed service, cold food and rude staff await those who would dare jepodise the staff leaving on time!
