Chiesa della Martorana

Beautiful church . We enjoyed it more than the golden chapel at Norman Palace . It doesn't happen often that I go to church and want to spend more than half an hour there.

Although it was built in 12th Century, its interior has been renewed in baroque style. The church used to be Greek Orthodox until in 1937 it was handled to the Albanian Orthodox.

A small, but nice little church that's a cool fusion of Arabic and Christian.
