It's hard to believe that when it was built for Lady Frances Cooke Grimston in 1838 she referred to it as a ‘little cottage’. This beautiful building has been lovingly transformed into our ‘little pub’.

Came for Sunday Lunch . Can't fault it. I went for the Mixed Roast Beef and Roast Pork . Very tasty. The Roast Pork was delicious. My 8 year old Daughter loved the Chicken Goujons. (Proper chicken .)

Pricing seems reasonable for the quality. To those that think it's expensive , if you want to pay pub prices for your food....go to a pub !
Awesome place, great garden and excellent food. I've had a faultless three-course dinner , good value for money . Good range of real ales and wines .
