Be warned the leisure facilities are always busy, but the place itself is lovely. Take a wander down to The Manor, and have a pint while watching the sport in the Cellar Bar

GREEDY- £7 a night to park your car or £12 for them to park it!! Where else can we park ? We are in middle of nowhere!! Would rather they put a tenner on price of room !

Fantastic place. Rooms, food and staff are all fantastic. If you're going for a spa weekend get there nice and early to take advantage of everything on offer before you check in.

Brilliant spa break 5* excellent staff and service. Sound management. Relax and enjoy.

After coming here several times a year for the last 4 years we were greeted not with fab valet parking team but a foreign man telling us they are charging for car parking !!

Helipad a great feature, for those times when only THE CHOPPER will suffice,very handy indeed :-)

The honey and mustard sausage breakfast bap from The Lodge is superb, great value , and it comes with a couple of crispy hash browns !

If you are going to use the chipping green between the range and clubhouse it's always worth seeing if there are balls already down there before getting a bucket from the range.

Get some golf in or simply soil yourself and eat and have fun

The putting green near the 1st tee of The Montgomerie Course is much better than the one by the Roman Road . Well worth the two minute walk...

Great hotel - lifts have a mind of their own though

The Welsh lamb and corriander burger is fantastic! A must if taking room service .

They have a helipad , so don't hesitate to take the chopper .

Take a walk on the purpose built wood trails very nice, particularly when the sun is shining

Unpleasant food, nice waitress , horrible management, v.v.rude. advertised as Pet Friendly on website. Really - the chicken was so plain and unappetising the dog wouldn't eat it! Avoid chicken wrap

In the main hotel-sit in the dipped area the service is from the restaurant area and not the bar . That means they use proper cups for tea and not big coffee cups and that means tea stays hot

Concierge team are first class though.

It's now £10 per night to park ! Scandalous

It has the execution of a Travelodge. Poor. And for the surliest, most responsibility shirking, unapologetic piece of customer service I've ever seen: duty manager Michelle Pittman.

I feel the hotel staff and in particular the bar staff / manager are definitely not 5 star and they are borderline rude.

Lovely hotel but waiters in the crown and Merlin bar were rude so not really a 5* service

Excellent venue. Maybe a little extra customer service training . A difficult job I know, but staff are there because of the clientele not the other way around..

Not good if meeting upstairs as today, had to come up in services lift :-( their customer lift only goes down to basement , very poor in these days.

Disappointed with bar service , lunch menu very poor, service & selection not up to standard of location
