Very interesting for urban tranformation study. This place also have many nice Singapore legendary food, from original Ya Kun Kaya Toast , Nam Seng Noodle , Tan Hock Seng Bakery to posh JuChunYuan
Great example of adaptive reuse of old buildings (in this case shophouses), much like Bugis Junction. However, it's quite dead during the weekends without the working crowd, most stalls are shut.
