Reclaimed space under a car park , behind a petrol station, right on the water. Good selection of beer and decent food. Great hidden place for drinks when the weather is nice!

Highly recommended if you want to do things like the locals. This place is a little hidden but gets a lot of sun and you can sit and drink on the picnic tables .

Best summer spot ever. Soaking the sun, drinking g&t's. Tortilla chips and chicken wings are best snacks ever. Other food is great too.

Caribbean? They don't sell ribs or beans! Or monkeys. I was sad about not buying a monkey. WANTED: 1 monkey, great if the monkey does impressions too, not vital monkey requirements.

Lovely, beautiful crowd, laid back vibe and amazing spot on a sunny day in ams (last one perhaps very rare:) live music and djs on the weekend make this spot a must go!

Often crowded but worth the wait. The food (both lunch and dinner ) is absolutely great. Take care: The "spicy " food can be really hot.

Probably a great place for groups and beers by the canal , but i highly recommend not to eat here. We had the mixed platter and a dark & stormy and both would be better at a fast food chain.

Very hip place with an amazing canal view . The terrace is must see, lovely crowd. Good music inside and they have a nice selection of tap & craft beers .

The location is amazing. As its hidden from direct view , its still pleasantly filled with locals. The kitchen is Surinamese, but poorly done

A little bit hidden behind the gas station , it can get really crowded on weekends, but is a very nice place to have some beers or a quick dinner .

The ‘Gado Gado with tempeh ’ and the ‘pumpkin roti roll’ are great vegetarian options . Try it with the Homemade Orgeade or Gemberbier.

The place itself is unique and cool, though the food wasn't outstanding. You have to order at the bar and bring your coffee to the table, which is ok, but I didn't expect that. Great for drinks.

Unlikely location at the park of a huge car park , but nice upbeat crowd, perfect for a after work beer or two...

The duck and the lamb are definitely great dishes. But the ginger beer made my night!
