Masmak Fortress

Nice walking area surrounded by saudi traditional architecture . There are some local street food selling sugar cane , peanuts , corn ...also a couple of antique , and islamic shops. A pure tourstic place

The Masmak Fortress, a clay and mud-brick fort, is located in the old quarters of Riyadh. It was here that Ibn Saud won the battle to recapture Riyadh in 1902.

One of the best free attractions in Riyadh . Very well-kept, organized and rich with history. The guy in charge was extremely nice, helpful, and respectful. He gave us a free tour with a big smile.

Masmak is a must visit when in Riyadh. The fort has a decent museum telling the history of Riyadh with interesting old photographs . After, have a stroll around the small souks nearby.

Didn't have much time to explore, so really didn't get to explore much, the tour was helpful and interesting about different Saudi royalty, and various misc details.

From here, the most important landmarks of the city , and the beautiful capital Riyadh, and from here began the story of aKingdom , and the glory of AbdulAziz

المتحف جميل و فيه شرح و معروضات مجسمة و مصورة عن فتح الرياض ..يوجد به دورات مياه للنساء و الرجال ..يوجد مصلى للرجال فقط و النساء لم يوفر لهن مكان بل يطلب منهن الذهاب للجامع ..تم منعي من الصلاة في الم

متحف يحتوي على لوحات ومعلومات باللغة العربية والإنجليزية عن تاريخ المملكة. منظم ومرتب يستحق الزيارة خصوصا لزوار البلد من جنسيات مختلفه.

الزيارة جدا جميلة ذهبنا العصر لايوجد زحمه والاجواء جميلة المكان مرتب ونظيف وتقضي وقت حلو فتره المساء تواجد الكثير من العائلات والشباب

متحف مرتب عن تاريخ الرياض والدولة السعودية وفيه مقتنيات وصور قديمة.. فاق توقعاتي صراحة، من الأماكن اللي تستحق الزيارة في الرياض ???? مفتوح يومياً للزيارة، والدخول مجاني.
