Great place to put in for C to G class 2+ kayak run. You can continue through to the Gorge for class 3+. Beautiful river , gorgeous scenery . Less crowded this time of year.
Take the guided tour from the visitor's center- covers more than just the gold rush , including Native American sites.
It is a good place to go to for a days outing/pick nik/rafting. Located in Coloma on HWY49.

I love this place! $10 for a day (I purchased the annual pass) so many things to do here! :) u can hike, bike, camp, swim, and picnic with family or friends. or just drive around an enjoyed the view!! - Jinnie L
