I was a bit weary to try "Southern" food up here but this place was on point. The gumbo was really good, cornbread with the right amount of sweetness and the pulled pork was great. Excellent service !

A must visit to have a mal while in Hartford. Fried okra and pickles , St Louis rubbed ribs , collard green were fabulous. Also, a pretty view of the Soldier's Arch of Bushnell Park from the window.

I love the gumbo ! Very comfortable atmosphere . Easy to sit at the bar as a single person. Everyone is super friendly .
