The theatre 's interior is just as interesting as the outside. Find your seat early to enjoy the space and the sci-fi sounds that call the public to be seated.

Just after the successful “Phantom of the Opera”, the Guangzhou Opera House will welcome a 3D Van Gogh art exhibition .

The theater is beautiful, the plateau is big enough. I only wish they will bring more plays in English.

The worst ballet crowd ever. I told the women in front of us to get off their phones; they berated me/"it's our culture". Staff had lasers to shine at anybody using their phone. Their batteries died.

广州大剧院，曾名广州歌剧院，坐落于广州CBD中央，广州七大标志性建筑之一。继北京国家大剧院、上海大剧院之后的全国第三大歌剧院。 由第一位获得“普利兹克建筑奖”的女性、英籍伊拉克女建筑师扎哈·哈迪德设计 ，外形宛如两块被珠江水冲刷过的灵石，而被称为 “双砾”。“大石头”是歌剧院主体大剧场，“小石头”是多功能剧场 ，两者面积比是5∶1。 《今日美国》评为“世界十大歌剧院”。

工程由来自英国的女性建筑大师扎哈·哈迪德设计 ，其外形独特，犹如一山丘上置放两块大小不同的石头，而被称为 “双砾”。剧院由大剧场和多功能剧场 两个单体组成，总投资13.8亿元人民币。总占地面积42393平方米，总建筑面积71197平方米，其中大剧场36400平方米，多功能剧场 7400平方米，其它辅助设施26100平方米。

広州歌劇院：ザハ・ハディッド（2011）。オペラハウス と多目的ホールの２つからなる施設で、ともに不定形で滑らかなフォルムと色味の異なる御影石を使ったファサードのコントラストが印象的。GPS測位システムなどの最新テクノロジーを駆使し、ダイナミックな建物になっている。
