Love the food at the Sailmaker Restaurant and the cocktails at the cocktails at the open air rooftop Zephyr Sky Bar . Not a 5-star, but a solid 4-star hotel .
Remarkable improvements all round since being taken over by Hyatt. Service, FNB etc. Finally a lounge !
Set your alarm for an early start. Say about 5.00am and head to underneath the Harbour Bridge . You'll capture a great sunrise over the Opera House on the right morning.
One of the best club lounge breakfasted I've seen. Got upgraded to top floor with harbor views with explorist status.
Great views of Darling Harbor from most of the rooms. Parking is expensive and a challenge so beware if you are driving a car.
The wi-fi is far from atrocious and worked very well in rooms on the 4th and 8th floors that I stayed in.
Test - A fave alternative to a 5 star. Loved the SPG Gold upgrade to a Premium Harbour View Room to capture a sunset or Darling Harbour lights .
Rooms a bit dated, but clean . Great rooftop bar , but closes at 10pm. Central location. Great views of Darling Harbour . Lacking a pool.
300$ a night excluding breakfast and wifi for quality only compared to Ryanair. Dirty rooms, too many guests that cant be managed by the staff , queues at the reception and breakfast . Not worth it.
The rooms on the top floor with harbour view ????????
Harbor view rooms are gorgeous. Wifi sucks and concierge service isn't great. Rooms are quiet and comfortable .
Best room service . Very good location. But the wifi is really bad....
Low level city view rooms have a nice view of carpark across the road . At least the room was quiet , comfortable and clean .
Could work on English language schools of stuff members. Otherwise nice facilities and excellent location
Great location! Get the daily parking pass, it's totally worth it
Harbour view and regency club are a must!
Good value for money . Make CERTAIN you get a Harbour view room - they ate the even numbered rooms.
Great hotel , services and overall experience. Nice breakfast . Balcony room highly recommended!
Food, GYM and great location! Great hotel .
Comfy beds , great service. Rooms could do with double glazed windows though. And our room could always hear the water running through the pipes.
Patchy internet, a bit basic (no bath foam, slippers, robe, chargeable mineral water). Great view though. Ok for business travel.
A harbour view room is a must!
Stay on even numbered higher level rooms as it has the harbour view . 7th floor and up should be good. But wifi sucks. Can only get connected near the doorway.
Reception & housekeeper r awful, as it took them 2 days to get my bottled water… while concierge are impressively helpful! I'd luv to stay here again for hotel location & concierge service!
Great location and the rooms are pretty decent for the price.
Pub at the entrance is nice and quiet on a weeknight and food is cheaper than inside motel .
The darling harbour Christmas tree from our room
Great pub food and drinks at the Dundee Arms. And you can charge it to the room.
While you're here let the inner nerd in you escape by strolling up the street to the Apple Store. You know what the say about 'An Apple a day...'
Note to Americans: the hotel does not use a top sheet with a duvet. This is common in Commonwealth countries and not an error on their part.
Most of the breakfast buffet choices are Halal certified ;)
Don't stay in a premium room, the off gassing carpet is likely to kill you. "City views " is a car park
Really nice service and comfortable beds . Stayed on 8 floor so traffic didn't bother at all.
The hotel doesn't have a pool
Pretty standard hotel , I've seen better soap in a 2 star motel . rooms.. ok... harbour view nice, Cafe yuk... soulless
A fave alternative to a 5 star. Loved the SPG Gold upgrade to a Premium Harbour View Room to capture a sunset or Darling Harbour lights . Grab a drink in the Lobby Lounge and Room Service is also good
Wine in the minibar is cheaper than the actual bar .
love the view facing the harbor
Drop by for a drink on your way to Darling Harbour Read more
Atrocious wifi
These guys will charge you the $200 cleaning fee if you smoke in-room.
Super friendly staff !
Friendly hotel just across from darling harbour
First night of three on seventh floor overlooking darling harbour . So far all OK
There's only 1 spa room here… but u gotta walk all way long to b there… nice room but bad location -_-'
Good for early check-ins
Now completely smoke-free.
Would have to be the noisiest rudest hotel in Sydney. Stayed 6 nights here and will never go near again
The room service based breakfast is not worth it (it never is anywhere)
Furnishing is getting old. SPG service is inconsistent. Stayed 7-8 times here. Will return but not impressed.
Good views and some yummy cocktails. Fantastic on a hot day when you want some aircon. - ᴡ Lagasca
I stayed there for 9 nights in a very nice corner room with a great view (3 big windows). I liked the gym and swimming pool downstairs. Very central, just perfect. - Thomas
Try the Käsekrainer - Traditional Austrian junk food. Original taste. Don't miss to try! - Kay-Uwe S
Awesome hotel with nice staff. Room are perfect and the view from the 36th over Sydney harbor is perfect ! - Quentin Lafon
Nice harbour to walk around especially with kids, nice restaurants along the way, playground and of course fantastic view - ????????????????á???????? ✨
Lots of interesting shops, vintage jewelry, and superb cafes. An amazing custom jewelry design shop (Larsen) on the 5th floor. - Mi Sc
Small but serviceable tap selection. Expansive outdoor seating for watching sport or whatever is on the projector. Reliably swift service with good deals during the week. - Aaron Kraus
