Oosterpark

Really beautiful park in Amsterdam. There's a tram stop close by so it's very easy to get to. I prefer Flevopark however if I'm going to visit a park in the East. This is a traditional city park .

Day @Oosterpark area? Have breakfast at bar Bukowski, visit Tropenmuseum, drink coffee at Bru or Rum Baba , do a local brewery tour at Brouwerij het IJ, chill in the park then have dinner at Biertuin x

You can imagine the residents from nearby psychiatric hospital (now hotel ) plotting their escape through this luscious park , over the bridge , skipping the statues , to autumnal freedom.

Socially mixed park , beautiful to walk and jog. Check out the playground design! And make sure u get a coffee at the nicely designed Generator Hostel within the park

You can have a barbecue anywhere in the park : just grab some chicken wings , disposable barbecue set and some beer from a nearby AH and find a cozy spot next to a pond in the park

Renewed in spring 2015, the Oosterpark is now beautiful, almost like a London park . Check out the sand playground and the rock fountain

Aside from being a great place to go for nice walks, running, or picnics , Oosterpark is also the place where you'll find the National Slavery Monument and the Theo van Gogh memorial.

A beautiful park to take a walk. Also the park where the momument is to remind people of Dutch slavery history.

Perfect park for wandering, running, biking , picnicing , walking dogs, playing with the kids and everything you can do in a park !

Take some food and go for a lovely picnic . Earlier in the day it is not that noisy .

Zin in een gratis muziekfestival: Appelsap a.s. zondag 1 augustus. Breng genoeg bier en goedkope rose mee!

Goed toeven hier. In de zon, kleedjes, muziek , barbeque, rosébiertje, wijn ... en gezellige mensen. Genieten :)
