After visiting the museum and shaft , hop on the tube and go to Wapping station on the other side of the river . On the platform , you can see the tunnel and the station is built in the other shaft .

Climbing into the tunnel entrance was fun. Especially for who, like me, is very tall :D Looks like is the oldest tunnel in London . Pretty cool ha ;) Take a look of the benches outside : so cool!

It's only a tiny museum , but definitely worth the 3 GBP entry fee to learn about something you've probably never heard about.

Londonist

The museum 's tiny, but hold on a year or two and they'll have an amazing events/exhibition space in the converted ventilation shaft .

Quaint rooftop garden that looks like a real garden . And climbing into the tiny tunnel entrance was fun.

This small museum has a few most interesting models of early tunneling machinery. Worth a visit.
