You get that puffy egg dish on the house. Side dishes are huge and plentiful. Everything's delicious.
Snag a table with a grill and prepare to get the meat sweats — you have to order at least two massive plates of meat to be grilled, but the gluttony is worth it. Plan on washing it all down with soju . Read more
Han Il Kwan's meat is the most tender. It's still worth it at $30 for the quality and experience, which make it a definite step above the others on this list. Read more
The most authentic Korean BBQ restaurant in SF (with the prices to match). It's not a bad deal if you go with a large group with all of the sides and free add-ons ("service"). Get the galbi !
Huge bibimbap lunch for two: $25. Clean , insane value, great service, nice interior. Best Korean in the avenues, imho
Incredible Korean BBQ . The marinated spicy beef was especially good. The plates are huge - they recommend one per person, but 3 for 5 is plenty.
All the cuts of meat are amazing and they have a great variety of veggies .
If you're thinking about soup for a cold night, try one of their hot stone bibimbap dishes. Stays hot/warm for the entire meal. Also be sure to add some red chili paste and stir it all together :)
Very satisfied! My Korean friends told me to come here to have authentic Korean food . Wanna come again.
I need to say this is No.1 Korean restaurant in SF for now. Good service and authentic dishes .
Kimchi pancake , fresh galbi and bulgogi were all excellent. Also the Japchae was good.
I can get full just by eating the free stuff : 8 side dishes, tofu soup or steamed egg , rice , and dessert
Generous portions are to be had at this Korean barbecue restaurant . We recommend the spicy bulgogi , spicy pork , and marinated octopus .
Minimum of two BBQ meat choices to cook your own. 2 is enough to feed a group of three along with unlimited ban-chan and tea .
Amazing. Get the bulgogi , kalbi , tofu soup , jap chae, and the banchan that comes with it is amazing. Healthy and delicious. 50 stars
The bulgogi BBQ is sweet and tender and delicious. Bring friends or take it home with you though, it's a ton of food.
Good spread of banchan and dolsot bibimbap . Plan to wait a while to get in.
One of my favorites KBBQ restaurants near in San Francisco area
Very friendly service ! And the food was pretty good too.
Hidden gem ! Was great food and a great place!
Always get the BBQ . Despite the presumable deliciousness of the pork belly , the beef and marinated pork options are the standouts.
Lunch special is available on Mon-Fri until 4 pm~
holy moly, side dishes for days! probably one of the very few authentic Korean restaurants in SF !
come with a big group, do the set BBQ meal (available lunch or dinner ) and wear your oldest clothes . you will smell like kalbi when you leave
call ahead to see if they have a tour group coming - if they do, they won't be able to serve other parties for a while.
Try the Dolsot, it was amazing!
Everything comes with ban-chan, rice , and tofu soup or steamed egg
probably the best kbbq you can find in sf
