Excellent soft shells but if you are not a regular forget getting the attention that should accompany $150/person tab. They have recently raised prices again but there is no shortage of regulars.

My favorite Italian restaurant in New York! Food is robust and plentiful, super wine list , incredible daily appetizers & dinner specials . Eating here makes me feel like I'm "back in the neighborhood ".

Veal chop with mushrooms and onions . I always order it since it is always the best in NYC.

This place is great if only just for the fact the staff makes you feel like a regular customer and always remembers you. However, have only been here for a nightcap or pre-dinner drink.

Artichoke stuffed with bread crumbs . Good but not knock your socks off.

Good but not outstanding. The chicken was tough and the other dishes were ordinary. Maybe chef was out.
