Lot's of aircrafts and a great outside tram tour ! (Especially because it's bloody hot!) People are very nice and mostly everybody was a pilot so they have lots of information!

Michele Bowser

What a neat spot to see planes of every shape, and size, and to get some history lessons at the same time. My favorite part was the tram tour , and our War Veteran driver/guide.

Kelly H.

The volunteers and guides here are amazing. Take advantage of their in-depth knowledge and ask them about the aircraft . And take the tram to hear even more!

Kiel

Lots of walking indoors and out, so be sure you have comfortable shoes . Don't forget to look up!

William Mitchell

If you ever get a chance to visit Tucson this is a must see. It's the second largest air and space museum only to the Smithsonian .

Bernard Ortega

Wow!! Been roadtripping for 5 months, and this is a top 5 highlight. Better than the Smithsonian air & space museums

Abdullah Alhamoud

Lots of airplanes ! Volunteers are great and very informative.

Tom Coates

The museum itself is pretty good, but the star attraction here is over the road - driving around the plane graveyard where aircraft are stored in the desert to preserve their parts.

The Pima Air and Space Museum in Tucson, AZ is one of the largest air and space museums in the world, and is the largest non-government funded aviation museum .

The Ritz-Carlton

The aircraft exhibits at Pima Air & Space Museum are wonderful, but it’s the bone-yard next door with 4,400 abandoned jets that will make your jaw drop. Tours are first come, first served.

Ann Byrne

Take one of the guided walking tours - many of the guides are ex-fighter pilots and such! They know & love what they're talking about.

K12 Inc

Did you know? The museum’s collection of 300 aircraft and 125,000 artifacts is second in size and diversity only to the Smithsonian Institution's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. Read more

This museum is an ideal location to take a bus tour to see the operations and retired planes near an Air Force Base for $7! Read more to find out about other fascinating venues for airport museums . Read more

Mary McGurn

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes . You can also see some of the 4,000 military and civilian aircraft by driving along the fence on Kolb Road by the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base .

Mark K.

It’s worth the money. So many great historic aircraft on display with more to be restored.

Yuriy Ryabikov

Huge museum with 5 big buldings and 300+aircrafts. Very interesting. It takes 3+ hours to view .

M. R.

Great place to witness human ingenuity. One of the best flight museums in the nation. Great photography spot

Patrick Johnston

Blackbird is incredible to see up close - and right in the main hangar if you don't have a lot of time

Christina Craig

Day trip, interesting if you like that kinda thing....I liked it and I am not really into air and space stuff, affordable . There is a shuttle ($7-$9) that will ride you around the "bone Yard"

Kayo S.

I'm not particularly into planes or WWII memorabilia , but I enjoyed it here nonetheless. Worth a look if you're in the area.

eric bornemann

You got to be really into planes and military history. It’s interesting for a bit but a lot to take in.

Holiday Inn Tucson

A great place to stop by when in Tucson! Whether you're an airplane aficionado or not there is TONS to see here!

Tony Martin Klæboe

The number of historical aircraft !

Walking through the outdoor displays is amazing. Tram only if you need it!

Bob D

A must see for everyone!

Two WW2 buildings, a 787 , and a blackbird - lots of great planes to see

GE Aviation

With over 300 aircrafts , you don’t want to miss out on the Lockheed SR-71 A Blackbird in Hangar 1 South … this is the only aircraft to exceed Mach 3!

LuAnn Kidd

Wear comfortable shoes . There is so much fun stuff to see but you will need to do a fair amount of walking unless you take the tour tram . Read more

Jeff Schmidt

Lots of planes to look at. Also some kids can climb inside

Jim Fisher

A lot of fun. Definitely wear sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes .

Matthew Boepple

Impressive collection, including Air Force and Marine presidential transports (Yup, JFK's plane is there too). Obviously, most of the collection is outside. Check the weather, come prepared.

Joanna Poe

If you go on the AMARG tour , sit on the right side of the bus .

Inland Kenworth of Tucson

This place is pretty cool. You get to see all the old bombers and some newer ones that have been designated for the graveyard.

Hannah

Take the walking tour , it's free with admission and the docents are awesome!

russ barschi

Don't miss the boneyard, ONLY on weekdays!

Angry German

It's in Arizona and the buildings are NOT air conditioned . Pales in comparison to the Air Force museum in Dayton.

Matt Shobe

Awesome place to collect mad Fitbit points. See *everything*.

Good food but unless you're rich I don't suggest feeding the family here! $45 to feed 2 adults and a 7 year old lol

David Velasquez

The food is above average compared to other restaurants . A complete meal averages $10, also allows a wide view of the museum 's aircraft yard.

Jenna Lacovara

The 390th Memorial Museum is wonderful and heartbreaking. Definitely check it out.

Great experience as usual. Being that this is the first one we saw coming west from New Mexico from I-10, it is indeed VERY CROWDED.But this point is countered by the fact that the staff is efficient - Ryan Klein
