Leaving tip #2...the waitress staff on Sunday (and maybe other nights) is the B list. Food is excellent though. Lobster bisque , mahi mahi , and ahi appetizer are all outstanding!

I happen to have eaten here for lunch and dinner and haven't ever had a meal I did not adore! The views are the best on Sanibel just arrive before sunset because the windows become mirrored! ;-))

Charming atmosphere, innovative cuisine and a staff willing to please. Order a seafood dish and you will want to move to Florida.

Get the chef 's special if it includes fish and crab !

Great view ! Not many restaurants on Sanibel with a Gulf view .

For lunch , the Thistle club sandwich is amazing.

For the best views from the inside dining room, ask to sit in the rotunda on the left as you walk to the back of the restaurant .

We enjoyed the lobster bisque and the rest of our meal.

Sesame-crusted tuna may have been the best I've ever had... not sure, because I was drunk with happiness.

"fancy " food for old people. good if you don't have very high expectations. Fine dining in atmosphere, not in the plates.
