During the 1950s Benefit Street experienced a decline and then a rediscovery of historic houses and this area became one of the first urban renewal projects in the country to emphasize rehabilitation.
The street is packed with beautiful historic houses along with Brown University ... Must visit while in Providence, Rhode Island
