Confusing wine prices! Better quality wine by the bottle yet cheaper than buying a couple of large glasses of 'house wine '! e.g a bottle of Cab Sav as little as £14 will cost £16 for 2 large glasses.
Big menu with interesting choices. Very friendly and helpful waitress . Food was delicious, pork belly and scallops ????
Make sure that you make a reservation otherwise you will have a long wait for a table! Very popular but they so risk spoiling things if they try and cram any more tables in! Food is generally good!
They serve some special pies that are very good. Mine was lamb with spices ans sweet potatoes ... Delicious!!!
Be sure to check out the specials menu for veggie options as the main menu is quite limited for vegetarians/vegans.

The Mixed grill is 1st class ! Great food all round and nice atmosphere.
The bar staff are so busy that they haven't been able to go on their customer service update course for a loooong time
Dogs are allowed in the garden but not the pub , but how one gets to the garden without going through the pub is not immediately clear
