The low-key facade and menagerie of door knobs disguising the entry makes this bar a true hidden gem . The drinks are expertly crafted, food is great especially the fried PBJ and staff really friendly .

Very classy ! The drink were amazing, delicious & fresh! Awesome staff & great atmosphere! Definitely will be coming back!

Ktown's got speakeasy-style drinking (R Bar , anyone?). Lock & Key now has food service (that's rumored to be pretty good), so that puts it at the top of the list for us. Read more

Good vibe. Sort of small due to the location and because it gets pretty packed in here. If you're anything like me and need your space in a crowded club, a table may be a good investment.

Stephen Smythe

love the speak easy vibe and extensive cocktail menu . bonus: you can order food from The Original Ramen Burger !

Connie Chiu

Super cool vibe, great music , awesome entrance, and love the open backyard . Drinks are slow to make though.

Amaya

Fun dance spot with pretty good DJs and fun Sunday school day parties on Sundays but a bit disorganized as far as the line goes.

Thomas Colton

One of the best places to go out in LA. At least, once you're inside. Everyone is here to get down, drink and enjoy the 90's beats 😎

Stephen Ejide

Wasn't excited about the required bottle service or $250 punch bowl purchase on Sunday at 5pm for outside tables ... But nice ambience and good drinks. Hostess was very "L.A.". Great low key spot

Andrea Nguyen

Make sure you get there early because the line gets ridiculous around 11pm on Thurs-Sat. Drinks are around $17-20, so pricey . But the music is good (hip hop , r&b)

Tony Lai

Lock & Key isn't as great of a drinking spot anymore since The Line hotel opened up. Dress code is strictly enforced. Collared shirts and dress shoes for guys.

Dean Hata

Amazing speakeasy bar with great drinks and staff ! Love the ambience as well !

Edgar Sarmiento

Door men are douchebags on the weekends but this a great spot for middle of the week date nights .

Wendy E.D.

Great food & unique speakeasy ! Put your dancing shoes on and get your liver ready -classy😉

Mitzi Gonzalez

Food, atmosphere and price were great!

Jennifer R

Good luck finding the door. Once you actually do get inside, it's worth it. Really nice spot!

Roger Ma

The doorknob to the far right will lead you into the bar (not telling you the exact one though...)

Shelya Jones

DJ spins some good jams . Drinks are fantastic. Never too crowded ... yet

Natalie Guerra

Sunday's are the best. A fun speakeasy but definitely not my favorite one.

Caroline On Crack

If you don't feel like guessing where the door is out of the bazillion doorknobs in the entry way, ask the door guy for help.

Bonnie Clyde

Ladies, wear shoes you aren't afraid to be standing around in. There aren't many seats outside . Also, don't do what I did (wear stiletto heels) because the planks outside will trap your heels.

Guapologa

There are no waiters per se, you have to order food with the bartenders , the guys in apron will be the ones who just bring food from the kitchen to your spot.

Anna Kim

If you don't know what to drink ...ask the bartender to make u one..

Quinton Guyton

The wings and the pb & j fried sandwhich are a must!!

Steve Scott Springer

Cool entrance. Well crafted cocktails , not so cool crowd.

Ana Vitik

Very fun. Great moscow mules .

Claudia Hernández

Go through the front door... and then figure out which doorknob to turn to ACTUALLY get in.

Brandon Hoang

Dress code is bizarre: they'll freak out if you wear a hat but allow cargo shorts ?

Abi Panicker

Busy late night crowd, good seems good, drinks are good, parking is tough

raihan

Bartenders are very knowledgeable and make great drinks here

James Lee

cool concept, nice atmosphere, and chill weekday vibe. The booze seems watered down though.

Ally P

Get Lust and Strawberry Mule was fantastic here!

Hien T

If you like tequila and spice, order the Santa Fe cocktail

Yasmeen Husain

Really nice ambiance. Have fun finding the doorknob !

cgreathouse

As long as you're not looking to every actually get anything to drink, you should be fine.

Esteban Santiago

Great music , great drinks, great people

drew tarvin

The coolest part of the bar is getting into it.

Lauren Mac

Fezziwig cocktail 👌🏻🍸

Jewell Singletary

Find the right door knob

Kirk Y

Try old money if you enjoy scotch

Ray Combs

Its only jammin if DJ LADY SHA is on the ones & twos!!

christina

Men need to wear pants and button up shirts or no entry

Brandy Snowden

Ruben is awesome!

Byong Bark

Men's bathroom is the one down the hall.

Melissa Manousos

Good luck with all the knobs!

Rasheed Prescott

Never have I ever waited 45min in the cold to gain access to a bar .

Sarah Cox

Tries too hard.

Frances

Don't even bother. Bartender asked to pay before giving me my drinks. On a Tuesday night no less. Also took 20 minutes to get my $15 drinks.

bb judy

The door guy is a cutie
