Whether for dinner or just a drink, get the Calacas. It comes out the color of blood from the beet juice , mixed with jalapeno tequila and chili salt for kick, with lime and agave to sweeten a bit.
The unmarked green door leads to an open garden and an adjoining small interior area. Intimate, cozy , warmly lit, and well-priced straight-forward food. Read more
If it's summer, try the Lolita cocktail . Our server lit up when I ordered it & said it was her all-time fave, just re-added to the menu for summer. Refreshing with a perfect sour/tart bite.
Nice outdoor back patio with heat lamps . Responsibly set up. Great brunch , had the duck hash and the corn flake crusted French toast .
What to order: Butter Clams & Gnocchi appetizer , Spring Vegetable Pot Pie , Crispy Duck Breast , Spice Rubbed Pork Tenderloin , and Olive Oil Cake . Read more
Brunch on the patio . Food is pretty good, with strong brunch options. I had avo toast and boyf had duck hash . Both enjoyable and a relaxing atmosphere .
The smallest burger in town , close to meatless. Also the cook kept touching the food with the towel he was using for cleaning the stove! Yikes ! Excellent service !!!!! + nice venue though
This restaurant is outstanding on every level. The gnocchi , burrata , artichoke , and cheesecake deserve special shout outs but everything was divine.
Busy for brunch , but there's a patio and we were happy to sit at the bar so got seated quickly. Great eggs Benedict and Bloody Mary . Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!
great little speakeasy restaurant . feels like a bit of brooklyn in west village/tribeca. when it's nice out, sit out in the backyard which makes you feel like you're no longer in nyc.
Great food, great service, awesome vibe. I definitely plan to be a regular here
Food was delicious and extremely creative. We had the winter salad truffle pasta special filet steak . Brussels sprouts 👍
The food here is good, the service, even better. Friendly staff and great cocktails . A perfect location for a quiet date.
The back patio is a dream. As an anti-brunch person, make an exception for this place.
Gnocchi , ravioli and chocolate creme brûlée are the way to go. Finish it of with Cynar!
Everything was perfect the good so delicious fresh best quality products!amazing staff great guys perfect service!we would absolutely recommend it!❤️
A perfect date spot . Go for the Irish soda bread with maple butter while deciding on the menu. Starters and strip steak was good. Great, prompt service too
Terrible service in the garden . But good food. Loved the vanilla cheesecake , cheese plate , and the linguine . The Hudson mule was yummy but the tequila cocktail was icky. Tasted like beer juice .
The pork chop was great. Great for both casual dining and special occasions . Outdoor seating in the back is first come first serve. Take out is available!
The hanger steak was amazing, sitting on a bed of crispy hash brown .
Look for the unmarked green door. It leads to an open garden & an adjoining small interior area- intimate , cozy , & warmly lit. Their duck breast is a hit but try the spice rubbed pork - terrific!
What to order: Beet Salad , Crispy Pork Head, Cured Arctic Char , Roasted Hake , Fried Chicken , Chocolate cake . Read more
Great place for brunch ! The avocado toast is awesome. Must also get the Johnny Cakes and the Kale and Quinoa salad . So yummy.
Food was superb! One of the best dining experiences Ive had! Can't stop thinking about the clam and gnocchi app and the pork belly over polenta app.
I really love the vegetarian sides & appetizers here (and I’m not a vegetarian !). Back garden is a semi-hidden treasure.
The portobello mushroom panini at lunch is delicious. It sounds good on the menu but when you get it and have the buttermilk panini bread ...oh my.
Cute space (with a lovely garden out back!), tasty food and tasty cocktails .
Awesome brunch place with plenty of options, such as avocado toast , eggs benedict , duck hash and French toast
Great place to impress your date. The dark and rustic atmosphere is sure to set the mood. Though the cocktail menu isn’t too extensive there are many unique options. Try The Duchess Read more
You can enter from Hudson St (not just Morton St). As they say, Main Street is mainstream. So it feels a little less exclusive these days.
Come for a glass of rosé in the garden , stay for a dinner of seasonal dishes that always impress.
The food's on tap until way late night , but even at 12 a.m. the service is still impeccable. Plus, the crowd is way less dingy than the exterior suggests. Read more
Amazing! Entrance is on Morton through unmarked courtyard . Waitstaff exudes hipster vibe , but food is impeccable farm to table and space is charmingly cozy .
If the weather is nice, reserve outdoor seating . Lovely place overall; particularly solid cocktails and meat courses.
Literally everything is delicious, the patio is lovely, and their private dining room for 10 isn't prix fixe or anything.
They make great smoothies , and good food. Def gets busy for brunch , but well worth it. Im going again tomorrow! Ha!
Great place for a romantic dinner . Its a bit loud but the energy is great: food perfectly sized and timed. the lighting is dark, wine good. We sat down at 11pm and things were bumpin'
Try the duck ! Favorite entree on the menu, perfectly cooked. Also the banana chocolate bread pudding is great to finish off dinner
Beautiful back patio . Everything was delicious, but try the duck ravioli .
Outdoor seating in the back. Had brunch there, solid benedict
Get the corn special (its June so...) They are thinking about putting it permanently on menu. It's the best grilled corn ever. Just get it.
Last outdoor seating at 8:30pm. West Village gem.
Cannot go wrong here for breakfast , lunch , or dinner . Perfect for an early breakfast meeting location.
A small outdoor patio , try the sandwiches for brunch they're really good.
Pan-fried char was cooked perfectly with good prices to match. Great atmos, knowledgeable cocktail makers and a cosy atmosphere .
Super friendly staff with unbelievable food! The gnocchi was unreal, as was the scallop appetizer !
Cute outdoor space for cocktails and snacks but a bit pricy for what you get. I know, “welcome to New York”.
Very cute breakfast spot on a weekday. Service is a little slow even when the spot is empty but it's good for a lazy day.
Cheesecake , picturesque outdoor seating , cocktails and hanger steak - all, done exceptionally well .
The food – tasty, seasonal, often organic regional fare – features some haute comfort: duck confit , pork belly , sea bass , Brussels sprouts with bacon , cauliflower potato gratin , apple tart .
Wild mushroom pizza with farm egg. Great flavor, try it! - Simone Czech
Wide open space bustling with lots of media types. Burgers, seafood, salads and excellent bloodies. - James Kiernan
Great cocktails. Real cocktails. And some nice appetizers. Get the bone marrow poppers. Kind of sceney still. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) - Edlin Choi
Really great drinks. Expensive but worth the ambience, nice service, and good looking waiter 😛 - Alex Albert
Vera is a wonderful vinho verde on the happy hour menu. Order it anytime, though. Very effervescent and light. - Drew Jennings
