Great food! Must try clay-pot rice , pork knuckle , otah omelette & tau suan!
Do yourself a favour and order their tau-suan for dessert . Freshly made when ordered. Best ever.
Cheap and good! The pork knuckle in black vinegar is awesome here. So is the claypot rice which uses Basmatic rice . Come early or be prepared to wait.
Dazzled with their salted fish fried rice ???? The softest of rice , with the right amount of 'kiam her' (salted fish ) wafting a savoury aroma
A bowl of tau suan here is $2.20. U get all this. Not overly starchy base. Nicely cooked mung beans
The claypot rice here is on the milder side. Although it's not as flavourful as others, it's well balanced that you will eat it continuously.
Quality restaurant dish in a local coffee shop setup. The boss (also the head chef ) controls quality by tasting the leftover from the customers' dish that are returned with too much unfinished
Love their Claypot
Try the new red dates chin chow drink. Out of this world
Food just as good more spacious with ample parking but ambiance two notch down
Assam fish head is a good choice too. Boss is walking around to ask feedback too, gd service. :).
Claypot rice is cooked in the pot when you order. So give yourself 15-20mins. Don't come only when you're starving :-)
Pricing was very reasonable but only outstanding dish was the vinegared pork trotters.
Not generous with the sharing. Taste of the claypot rice is so so only. Many places I went taste so much more better. The otar egg is yummy.
Yummy & affordable !!! ???? die die must try Claypot rice ..
Their signboard says "Food no msg, essence, preservative, pigment & no service charge". They left out: so oily you need to wet-wipe your mouth after every spoonful
Claypot rice is nice
Try the pork knuckle .
Claypot rice is a must!
Good teochew dishes. Try the On-Nee Sweet Yam and Ginko in Coconut milk desert - Michael Foong
Get the curry fish head for sure. The fried chicken and the ngoh hgiang are excellent - Kiang Teng Lim
This is the best fried kway teow in SG in my opinion- fragrantly fried, sufficiently moist and bursting w flavours w the fried pork lard and cockles! - Calvin Lim
