Healthy option ? I know you didn't think there was one: Green salad with green chutney and get broccoli masala , put on top, almost serves two
Dinners are served a la carte, are easily shared, and best paired with a couple orders of warm, fluffy nan ($2.50). Don't plan on eating anything else for the rest of the week. Read more
Indian Buffet : "The all-you-can-eat lunchtime buffet at this excellent, no-frills Indian restaurant would be a pretty good deal even if the food wasn’t convincingly authentic and totally delicious!" Read more
Menu highlights include the tandoori half-chicken and all of the lamb dishes and fresh breads . On weekdays, Jackson Diner offers a sensational lunch buffet . [Eater 38 Member]
Goat curry was great (search for the bone marrow !!). Re: allergens - None of buffet was dairy-free & only the third waiter we talked to was great & brought out a thali for my son really quickly.
My favorite Indian place in NYC. If you are eating there try the chaats . The portions are generous and the spicing is excellent. Try medium heat if you like spicy food .
The buffet was good. It had a good variety, tasty and a good deal at $12. Wish there was a nondairy dessert .
Great authentic Indian restaurant and good price for the portion!
Pretty good, not the best I've had but definitely hit the spot, can't go wrong with all you can eat !
A must have is the Chicken Biryani , accompanied by chilled Taj beer . The spice and the chill ???? amazing flavor!!
Amazing juicy chocken tikka masala and a healthy pallak paneer .
The dosai is good as well as the dishes ! The pudding dessert is heavenly!
If you are into Indian food this place is definitely a must with their $10,95 lunch buffet ! We love it!
The favorite is the papri chaat served cold with chickpeas , potatoes , bits of fried dough , yogurt , and tamarind .
Go here, get anything. Brunch buffet alone is worth the travel - where else are you going to find a dosa station with brunch ?
Among the best Indian in NYC. Reasonable prices and good service . You won't be disappointed.
My two favs???? veggie rice and chicken makhani ????
Skip the buffet and have a sit down meal. Waiters are fast and friendly . Chicken Tikka Masala is a must with a side of chutney and yogurt sauce . Smile and you'll get a complimentary lentil soup too!
He says u want more than spicy I say yes as hot as you can make it..if you can't take spicy go for the mild. If you like spicy .. They do it well
While I prefer other spots in Jackson Heights for my South Asian food , I really like Jackson Diner's baingan burta (eggplant w/ ginger ), great flavor & kick, vegetarian . Big party room upstairs too.
Offering authentic Indian dishes , from classic curries to south Indian dosas (Indian crepes ), Jackson Diner is a standout of the area’s many restaurants .
Good Indian cuisine . Come with an appetite.
$11.95 all you can eat buffet ... Now that's what I'm talking about! Great for vegetarians too.
Indian american specialties. Tikka masala . naan . this is jackson heights for dummies...but Hilary clinton dined here, if that kinda info is impt to you.
The Kheer is delicious this afternoon ! Yumm ????
Lots of choice at this Indian buffet . It used to be a regular American diner and the new owners didn't change the name.
This legendary Indian restaurant is a staple of Jackson Heights. It is definitely a must-do when in the neighborhood .
Awesome lunch buffet that us worth every penny $10.95. Made to order dosas and great rice pudding , tandoori and naan .
Lunch buffet has gone up a tad in price at $11.95 but still a great deal!
The buffet is my favorite. Great masala dosas .
Tasty, authentic Indian buffet during the lunch hours.
Excellent service and the food is superb
Vegetarians , order Mattar Paneer (if you're a lacto-ovo) or Aloo Gobi (vegan ). Drink a Mango Lassi . Don't skip on the Naan ! And watch some Bollywood moves on the TV in the back.
Taste good & reasonable price????
Staff At First Disagreed With UBS And NASDAQ Laws. This Restaurant Lacked Cotton, Silk Style Chairs.????
Chicken Vindaloo was excellent! I will definitely be coming back here.
Great, consistent buffet selection.

Lunch buffet only $13, great Indian food
Order some food! It would be silly to not eat at yummy establishment like this!
Do Not order something spicy on Sundays unless you truly mean it. It's kicked up three notches on Sundays compared to the rest of the week
Not bad... Eat as much chicken curry and naan breadz, pay $10 and doesn't afraid of anything.
Greatest lamb chops I've ever had.
The cocktails are awesome.
Amazing buffet yummy food
Murg laajawaab when asked for "spicy " is truly laajawaab.
Lunch buffet is amazing when you don't need to battle other people for naan !
Amazing amazing Indian food
Helpful and accommodating manager. Brought out dairy free food for young guest and did not charge for buffet .
Love this place. Come to Queens! Learn to live well !
