Soup dumplings among the best in NYC; surprisingly authentic flavors; great ambiance and service; portion sizes a bit too small; truly a blend of east and west; say hi to the dumpling artists :)
check this new place out in SoHo; pork dumplings are A+, great ribs , good vibe
good lunch deal - $19 for a main, dumplings , and vegetables . the soup dumplings , beef noodle soup , and spinach were good!
MUST come during happy hour !! Dumplings are half off, couldn't ask for anything better. Personally liked the vegetable dumplings better than the mushroom (also vegetarian ) dumplings .
Former exec chef for Din Tai Fung; 3types of soup dumplings : pork , chx & seafood . Also has dan dan noodles , cumin ribs , Cantonese-style cod , & wind-sand chx (HK prep of roasted bird w/fried garlic )
The soup dumpling were delicious but that’s the first I have had them. Dan Dan noodles were too spicy it didn’t let me taste the rest of the dish. We also had the tofu in beef broth it was delicious.
Soup dumplings , taiwanese braised pork rice , taiwanese beef noodle soup , dan dan noodles are my faves. Come for bottomless brunch on the weekends, so fun! Lol
Love the space and the vibe and the dumplings are amazing. I was less impressed by their entrees. Next time I go I will make a meal of ALL of their dumplings , wontons etc.
expensive but the xlb was incredible. also incredible? the ma po tofu and the sichuan string beans .
Soup dumplings are good. But the one to try are the mushroom dumplings ! The flavour is amazing!
Multiple orders of excellent soup dumplings . Duck rivaled only by that which I’ve had in Beijing.
I got the fried rice with vegetable dumpling lunch special to go. The dumplings were okay, but the fried rice was tasty. Overall, too expensive for what you get.
Lots of organic and healthy-ish options. Get some soup dumplings , a fried rice , and the Taiwanese beef noodle soup
Pork soup dumplings are great! Also try the garlic eggplant !
amazing soup dumplings , duck and RIBS! Order the RIBS
Very strong NA cocktail list featuring Aplos, Acid League, Figlia, Ghia and Unified Ferments
Must get the pork soup dumplings – the new best in NYC now that The Bao took them off their menu.
I wasn't blown away by the soup dumplings but holy moly, the ma po tofu is bangin! Dan dan noodles have a nice kick to it.
Happy hour is amazing deal. $5 soup dumplings and they are unreal! The seafood fried rice is also amazing.
The soup dumplings are obviously AMAZING, but don't miss out on the chicken scallion noodles , ma po tofu , cumin ribs , and garlic eggplant ! The wine list is transcendent... let Miguel show you the way.
Food is fresh, lively and really delicious. Wine list is killer ad well .
Veggies are great!
Everything is good! The dumplings , wontons , shrimp , rice , and noodles !
Soup dumplings are the bomb. Executive chef used to work at Ding Tai Fung (google this if you don't know what this means). Expensive for small portions. Taste made up for the cost.
Good but expensive Chinese food
Great xlb! Stick to the traditional flavors
5-7PM weekday happy hour , $15 for cocktail and 3 dumplings .
Green beans are surreal. Dumplings , of course.
Dumplings , spring rolls , dragon fruit drinks
Happy hour dumplings ????
Skip brunch here - most of the really good stuff isn't available
Peking duck is the best in the city
Love the eight treasures; vegetarian dish . Soup dumplings are great. Service is on and off though. Sometimes great but sometimes... I have empty glass of water for the whole meal
Try all the dumplings of you can!
Wine pair everything
Soup dumplings to try: Pork , Chicken and the shiitake mushrooms with truffles are great. The Three cups chicken , ribs and market vegs (we had pea shoots and eggplants ) are great to share.
Nothing remarkable about this place a part for the incredibly rude staff . The host in particular should be fired. You can find much better Chinese restaurant anywhere in the city .
Xiao Long Bao was expensive - and disappointing. The skin was too thick, and not enough soup inside.
Would not visit again based on the noodle experience I had. The food tasted bland and undercooked
It was fine but overpriced
Dumplings , fried rice w. wagyu beef , the cider and the jasmine tea ????????
Definitely the happy hour . Dumps aren't as good as other places but those ribs—don't leave without ordering some!
Soup dumplings is amazing here! Still looking into trying their happy hour .
Solid, but gets crowded ; taste similar to cafe china
The soup dumplings are amazing!
Nothing special. One more overpriced hipster Chinese restaurant ...they did not even try to invent some interesting dishes. Please go to the bao instead
Con mi amor…
Great place & amazing service. Michelin recommended! They do have many rooms for private events. Try Cold Sesame Noodles ????, Chicken with young ginger & pork soup dumplings ???? . Definitely a must! - Yuliya Samsonava
Bomb. Beef and broccoli & duck salad are both a must. Cocktails are great too but I'd skip them, eat the food then hop next door to apotheke. - Danielle Purslow
Authentic cheung fen (rice rolls) better than any you’ve ever had at dimsum! Love this place. Vegan friendly options. - Siobhan Quinn
Massive shop, mostly outdoor seating. Sundae bar/parlor and walk-in pies cakes rolling out soon. Great staff and 88 flavors ???? Banana agave is rich, Macadamia Butter Passionfruit is an EXPERIENCE - Kevin Yeh
Yes, it's worthy waiting in the line for the cronuts! Madeleines are very good too! Little but very cozy place! - Ivana CMS
Super romantic, sexy ambiance, amazing cocktails, friendly staff and Japanese comfort food. Do not miss the crab croquettes! - Kendra Borowski
