When FreeGeek has it, I'll buy from them and nowhere else. They deserve support for training people to work in tech and deserve support for getting us all cheap gear from tech toys to core computers.

Kit Haberman

Ask questions about the areas the warehouse is for computer cases that have been through reciving and eval and are waiting to go to build most are just cases and motherboards maybe an optical drive

Bella Porter

Awesome find....bring old computers, tv 's cables etc (see list on their website) for recycling . I even come here to find things I need.

Kit Haberman

You can't buy anything from the recycling program side recycling means recycling the systems have to be disassembled then rebuilt when you recycle first you get a discount at the thrift store

If you buy an As-is laptop from Free Geek and the specs on the label are wrong, they will NOT correct it and/or match the specs with what is on the label. Can't get any more bait-and-switch...

roxanne Wing

as always a very fun trip wonderful staff , will keep coming back,, always find something interesting or I need

curtis

despite the most popular tip, you can actually buy computers from free geek. you have to buy from the thrift shop and NOT the warehouse however. seriously, use some common sense.

Erik Aidukas

Surprisingly few computers for sale (I expected a bit more from Portland) but very fair prices

Chad Derrington

Great place to drop off old gear and pick up unique IT equipment

Terry Oliver

Although they have technical help for customers, they don't do data recovery. Sorry Apple Genius - wrong on that.

N C

Great place for inexpensive computer parts!

Adam Baker

Apparently you can donate, but not purchase anything ..."you want what?, go talk to her, now go here then overthere... "Yes these computers are, but you cant buy any" WTF? I wont donate here again!
