I recently moved to Arizona from Seattle, a city that has an exquisite selection of Indian cuisine restaurants . Guru Palace is a gem in the dessert .

Spinach samosas and veggie pakora are delicious! Tandoori chicken is my hubby's favorite of the chicken dishes . Veg biryani was boring, next time I'd stick with the plain rice .

Love the garlic naan ! Onion kulcha is also good. Make sure to get several orders as they aren't that big. I suggest 2 orders of naan per person.

If you're unfamiliar, try the lunch buffet for a wide selection. It's less than $10 plus it comes w/ fresh hot naan , mango lassi & hot chai tea . The staff is ALWAYS very nice & attentive.

My fave Indian restaurant of them all in the East Valley. The inside is dim and colorful decorations make you forget you're in AZ. They have a full bar & traditional floor seating in one corner.

My family and I have been frequenting Guru Palace for years and prefer this restaurant over other competitive restaurant serving Indian food

I liked the flavor of the vegetable korma but it's just potato , carrot and peas .

Not sure who voted them best in 2010 because I thought it was quite mediocre. Very bland overall, and I tried a variety of items on the lunch buffet . Won't be back.

Was not fund with the chicken masala ????????
