Good and tasty. Worth a drop by if in the area and craving for Mexican but it's not a destination if one is on the other side of town .
The carnitas burrito is the correct choice. Top it off with a Negra Modelo or a Dr. Pepper . A side of chips & salsa helps if you're extra hungry.
Quick and easy spot for a burrito or tacos . The carnitas was tasty is recommended
Easily one of the best chicken (pollo asado ) burritos I've ever had. Great seating as well with a great view of the whole triangle. Eat here.

As close as you can get to true San Francisco burritos . Looks a lot like Gordos. Carne Asada burrito is solid. Delivers ok, usually need to warm it up
Go for a quesadilla ! The guac and the chipotle are very true to mexican flavors. Grab a beer . Feel the joy.
Yummy burritos ! A good place to stop off and get a cheap , yummy lunch if you want something quick. Seating too.
The salsas are where Dos Toros really wins against their mainstream competitors. Solid burrito , and comparable to Chipotle in price.
Once you get halfway down the line , you'll see a container that has the lid on it (just south of the salsa ), it's got lettuce in it! They're happy to add it if you ask.
Try the Quesadilla . It's not your normal greasy cheesy quesadilla , it's more meaty and with a deliciously toasted tortilla .
"Gimme all your sauces", she said. Almost a PTFO midday from my plato situation. Please, arrive humble in regards to your heat tolerance or you will suffer the habanero wrath.
Make sure to get extra guac and the spiciest sauce they have! Best tacos and burritos in the west village !
Better than Chipotle. Better rice , better hot sauce , and bigger meat portions. Bowl is slightly worse because the paper bottom starts to become moist quickly.
Try a burrito with half farro and half rice . ???? golden ratio.
Steak burrito with guac all day. The habanero sauce is great but will burn the shit out of your mouth.
A good place to have a default burrito . It definitely makes you feel full.

Looking for a taste of the Bay Area's Gordo Taqueria in New York (down to having the exact same chairs)? Dos Toros learned from the best. $1 bag of chips is a steal.
This place is a solid alternative to chipotle. Same structure with a different flavor. The hot sauce is very hot.
The red hot sauce is pretty spicy . Ask for a mix of the milder and the hotter for max flavor.
Burritos and tacos are legit and the hot sauce will completely rock you.
Nice burritos , they're kind. I'm Mexican and approve their salsa . ????????
A better, more authentic version of chipotle !
Don't forget to get a horchata by Cup & Compass. Perfect summer drink (maybe perfect year-round drink)
This is the best burrito place in New York. All of the locations are stellar.
Salad with half carnitas half carne asada . Cheese , tomatoes , guac , sour cream , medium salsa . Do it to it!
The burrito is a much better deal than getting 2 tacos . Same price and you get rice and beans to boot.
only those of us born n bred in they bay understand how important dos toros is as a ny cultural institution. carnitas tacos all day.
Pork burrito was awesome
Best SF style burritos in NYC. Skip chipotle and go here.

Dece burritos but mostly just a nice quick option in a neighborhood severely lacking in street food that isn't pizza

Gotta have the carnitas . Watch out for the habanero salsa ! It's delicious but intense.
They really are not joking about the spiciness of the hottest hot sauce . Medium one would be a good choice and maybe a dash of spicer sauce.
I felt like this was a slightly better version of Chipotle , but I have only been once so I may have got lucky.
