Very authentic place hosted many writers and intellectuals back in time. Would be great for breakfast , lunch or just for a coffee stop by on riverside. Even more beautiful when it's snowing ❄️
The roasted duck and beef stroganoff were unreal. Delicious delicious food, and not crazy expensive ! Would be happy eating here every meal for my whole stay in Prague.
Avoid the cafe when there will start a play at the Theather if you don't have patience or time because it gets veery crowded ! Nice place, nice Apfelstrudel and there is Budweiser on tap! :)
Slavia is my favorite spot for a hot chocolate and a strudel they have is not bad at all. Seat next to a window for a great panorama! And yeah, piano live music makes this place special too!
Slavia comes straight out of a movie set of Woody Allen. The piano man, the people, the view of Prague. It’s one of those bars which will survive forever. Order a beer , grab a book , stay. I love it.
This cafe is where Nazim Hikmet used to take his coffee while writing his poems
Nice and cute cafe with quality desserts , good coffee and nice view . The waiters were kinda rude though, so if you don't mind being served by non-smiling waiters , you should totally visit this place.
Variety of desserts . Fine choice of coffee - with absinthe I liked :) You can even catch a sense of romance in the evening gazing with your absinthe coffee at your girlfriend and the river view :)
Spinach roll: the grilled aubergines are worth dying for. The French vegetables with creamed potatoes was a delight. Vegetarians will be more than happy here and please have Kozel dark beer as well !
Lovely - fancy - place to spend your late afternoon. @the.taste.of Calm/Romantic atmosphere made by piano play.
This place has a lot of atmosphere. Also great menu, lot of choice. You can really spoil yourself. The prices are surprisingly OK for such a famous spot. PS. Vaclav Havel used to be a regular here
Very tasty desserts - cakes of the day... and perfect view on river and theater
A bit overrated, but still one of the oldest cafè in Prague . Take a seat by the window for a view at the castle and the bridges . Wifi password: slavia1883
Traditional cafe , where Havel & others were sitting often, but Budvar on tap :-(. Crew does speak eng, but they aren’t well organized & slow. Reservation better in peak time. Rakvicka se slehackou❤️
Very historical and upscale place and also big. A little bit touristic . Service is as usual as rude - common in Prague. Good selection and quality food. Very good scenic view .
Nice cafe with a beautiful river view . Dont forget to see the portrait of Nazim Hikmet .
One of the oldest cafes in prag. Good view of the river , good food. Good place to have lunch and czech beer .
Nice place with great view and historical atmosphere. Desserts are always tasty. Nevertheless a bit over-priced. Waiters don't pay any attention to visitors, but don't forget to remind about the tips.
Dinner was amazing! It was a great atmosphere with an elderly man playing the piano and the staff was super friendly . Take a seat by the window and enjoy a nice view
Great place, average prices (we can say even cheap if you're coming from a Euro zone) Try "grilled Turkey meat with Camembert cheese and wild berries " you won't regret! I also ate the best Schnitzel !
Probably my favorite place in Prague. Great views , amazing live piano in the background, typical Czech food as well as international drinks and desserts .
Amazing place, where you can feel an old city spirit. Delicious local food, they serve enormous portions and coffee is absolutely tasty! Great view !
Must try apple dessert ! And also there is still have kafka's and Nazim's souls.
Near Legions Bridge , classical and cosy cafe . Deserts are so delicious and decoration of cafe comes from 60’s. Love it!
A must. National theater on one corner and the bridge on other side. Very close to old town . Very good service with smişing faces. Prices are also reasonable
Slavia has a long history and a great location. You can expect live piano in the evening. Average quality of served drinks and food, very good service . Smoking friendly .
The best place to eat and drink in Prague. Atmospheric, great view to the river , piano. Try the duck dish and the Czech red wine .
so cheep, cool and everything is delicious. smoking is free for inside and "Nazım kalbimizdesin". :)
Doesn't really need more reviews. Enjoyed my absinthe cocktail and turkey sandwich . Pretty cheap too. Nice place to lounge around.
Grab a seat at the window and enjoy the oldest venue. Caramel cram puff and absinthe coffee are both savory.
Prague castle and Petriny tower breathtaking views ! Also cinnamon cappuccino is good, impressive dishes and interesting deserts .
Roasted duck was delicious. Good waiters in prague standards, nice early 1900s atmosphere.
classic "poet's" cafe ! very traditional and you must try the desert menu ! Appel strudel or cheesecake are very nice.
Nice live music ,delicious food,dessert&coffes????
Find a place by window side and watch lovely Prague for hours. Cool and cozy place with satisfactory menu.
Live music . Noisy . Noce view from window seats . Average beer . Good selection of wine . Price average. Wifi password: cafecafe
Best apfelstrudel i’ve ever eaten.. definitely recommend it
Great window places, in the background plays the piano, delicious bohemian and a very fine fine feeling inside this old café . i live it :-)
Great Czech food . Beef fillets were good!
I love the atmosphere, lovely views and when lucky, the piano sound, my favourite spot in Prague:))))
great atmosphere. Drink a dark beer and enjoy the little live concert in the evening!
Amazing location and art deco interior with the painting of absinthe fairy. That's the only good thing about this place and the rest is crap for tourists !
Very good house lemonades and great Slavia Sacher.
Very nice place with live piano music , perfect service and big testy portions
Live Piano Music ! And a great view . Definitely you have to order the schnitzels (milanesa )!
Great ambiance along with the history of the cafeteria , cake and coffee are nice but cake are quite pricey for the quality of it.
Corner seats offer fantastic views of famous landmarks such as the National Theatre , Petrin and the Castle .
Love this traditional cafe , and served local foods...
Absolutely love this place! Amazing atmosphere & design!
Friendly staff , affordable and good food, authentic , locals. A really nice place.
Excellent mixed salad and coffee! Highly recommend! Unfortunately, it is almost always full :-( - Liza Alypova
My favorite historical site. Such a breathtaking view! And the statues are so beautiful. Worth visiting ???? - Anna Khotko
Stunning place, truly great experience! Totally recommend! - Fabiano Waewell
such a friendly place with the best hamburgers! - try the local burger (bit spicy but soooo delicious)! :) - Virág Vöröss
