Good food and good vibes! Spätzle are recommended, also try the Wostok drink if you haven't before!
My favorite restaurant in all of Berlin. Great food ( sausage wrapped in crispy pasta , fried with leek and egg is fantastic), beer , and helpful service . GO HERE IF YOU'RE IN BERLIN
Great pork schnitzel and potato salad ! Really chilled, laid back cafe-bar vibes. No wifi (although you can get half hr free from Vodafone in the vicinity)
Here's my impression of Martin Scorsese on Schwarzwaldstuben: "They make the best fucking schnitzel . If this schnitzel was a person I'd fuck it, because it's the fucking best". the dessert is good too
Hands down my favorite German restaurant in Berlin! Every time friends or family visit, this is where I take them for a memorable German cuisine experience.
had some fantastic lentil , spätzel, and sausage with good german mustard ...the scrambled eggs and bacon were also quite delicious...service was quick and it was a very comfortable place
Food was delicious. Best fried potatoes I've had. The schnitzel was great. Nice atmosphere too.
The place is popular; for groups, it's a good thing do book in advance. It is possible to eat at the tables inside and outside, but also directly at the counter. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Nice little spot. German Swabian menu. I had the schnitzel and was very tasty. Loved the cucumber salad to go with it. Service was too slow, perhaps because only 1 person was serving everyone.
The menu is seasonal, so there are always new things to try, but the classics like Flammkuchen, a kind of thin German pizza , or Maultaschen , a type of large ravioli filled with meat or vegetables ,
I love this spot! Breakfast is delicious, dinner is excellent. Traditional German food reminds me of my grandma's cooking!
Great vibe, lots of locals, simple and delicious german food . Great place to have a drink and hang out.
Very pleasant place, it is a hidden gem out of the bussy and public, commercial places! Highly Recommended to feel the Berlin
WHY THERE: German cuisine restaurant . STUFF: regular offers. STAFF : classic. LOCATION: close to mainstream (convenient). PRICES: average (reasonable). [SCHWARZWALDSTUBEN]
I keep coming back to this place and it never disappoints. Fantastic service, cozy surroundings and great food.
Awesome!!! Wiener Schnitzel was perfect with potatoes salad .. The "various starters" option at the menu was an unforgettable choice!!!
Very nice atmosphere and gorgeous, tasty food. Wines are a bit expensive . Comfy sofas and tables should be booked in advance. Just the right place after a long day at work.
Such nice flammkuchen with pear , goats cheese and walnuts , kaisersmarrn were really good too!
Lovely atmosphere and authentic Swabian food - Schnitzel , potato salad , Spätzle , the works. Definitely worth a visit.
Slow Food endorsed Restaurant with great seasonal choices, during autumn: ask for Zwiebelkuchen and Federweißer. It's not on the menu !
It's not on the menu but you can order schnitzel with a side of spätzle . It's delicious!
Very nice girl waiter . A cozy establishment. A meal with potatoes , sausage and beans - 9.80 €, delicious.
Popular so you might need to book . We were lucky to get a table at around 7:30, staff were really friendly . Try the Kaesespaetzle and Rothaus Weizen!
A well executed take on classic German cuisine . The schnitzel and the roast pork are both tasty.
Really nice Place to have a drink & eat great German Food ! Super atmosphere
first good German food I've had in a very long time. Even Spätzle is bearable! Top notch pancake dessert
Portions are not too big, so you’ll have room for dessert . Skip the Kaiserschmarren though, it‘s not as fluffy as it should be.
A little expensive for the type of rustic cuisine 12.50 euros with sausage with spätzle and lentils
Been here s couple of times when friends from out of town come. Let's just say, prepare your stomach for the breakfasts there
All food here is excellent especially the weekly specials ! You can pay either in cash or with German EC cards. No credit cards.
Let's say the truth: this place is for tourists , but is great when you have friends visiting. Limited menu but cozy place and smiley service.
Schnitzel is crispy and the Maultaschen were flavorful. Environment was modern German.
Schnitzel ! Great value , cozy atmosphere with old furniture pieces. Go here for lunch , not crowded .
Really delicious schnitzel ! And a very atmospheric place.
Great delicious food and the portions are huge! Very hearty meal .
The maultaschen were fab! Lovely atmosphere and setting. A great place to take visitors to Berlin :)
Best potato salad ! Super cozy and cool vibe. Friendly staff
German food , nice atmosphere. Bring cash, only german debit cards are accepted.
Nice spot to drink something (always crowded but not too much). Soups Are tasty, try the Smoked pork (w/ Potatoes salad ). Interiors Are old-fashioned as "required" :)
Nice schnitzel with potato/cucumber side. Menu says you can only pay with cash but in fact they also take your credit card.
Good schnitzel , a bit on the pricey side but defiantly worth the visit.
Nice old furniture . Breakfast for 8€ is really good. Good quality!
The schnitzel and potatos were toooo salty and greasy i couldnt eat them but the bear was good
The Schnitzel is always excellent. €20 for a schnitzel and a large beer .
Good German food . Excellent and friendly service .
The wiener schnitzel is to die for.
amazing! decently priced and super lecker. karl approves
Was initially feeling disappointed as only two (very similar) vegetarian options . However, I had pasta parcels with onion and potato salad and it tasted divine! Meat options are probably even better!
Flammkuchen with pear , goat cheese and walnuts was delicious! Great restaurant .
In a very touristic area, there are few good restaurants . This is worth a shot, with well prepared food. Don't go if you are in a rush as service is nice and slow.
Try the Spätzle mit Rucola Pesto, delicious and huge portions. Come early, it's crowded during lunch time.. - Christian H.
Great service with tongue in cheek. Delicious food and huge portions! Try the piri piri spätzle- very tasty spice. - Jessi @2feet1world
The veggie maltaschen and carrot slaw are very good! - MaryEllen Coleman
Definitely the best cakes in town! Almost a must-visit every time we are in Berlin. - Max K.
Great Cafe and an awesome place to work. Ground level is a Cafe, first floor a co-working space. Nice atmosphere. - Arnd Langguth
