Size of the dumplings and portions is proportional to the queues you get here I.e BIG. Quality is ok but not amazing. A decent Dim sum venue.
"Another dim sum off-the-menu Hong Kong style seafood restaurant . Innovative dim sum items include foie gras dim sum , about to become illegal as CA bans the sale of foie gras ." -David Chang's Top 10 Read more
The green beans with pork were the first thing to disappear from our (very full) table of food. More expensive than many dim sum places, but still convenient & good.
Recently Lunasia switched to using Yelp to manage their waitlist. On the weekend, if you don't use the app to get in line , you might face a 2-3 hour wait
Pretty good dim sum . If you're local and just want dimsum as food, you can call and order carryout . Skips a lot of waiting.
Good spot for dim sum but the wait is already over 45mins at 10:30am. The food comes out abbot slow so we had to cancel a few cause we forgot we ordered them and were too full by the end.
It's good but DON'T ORDER the Crispy Shrimp Roll (no. 34) TOGETHER with the White Radish Rice Noodle (no. 42)... Crispy Shrimp Roll is inside the rice noodle !! Generous portions ...
Not your traditional cart dim sum . You order from the staff and more upscale - delicious
The dim sum here has improved significantly compared to when it opened a few years ago. I would say its up to par with Sea Harbour .
Most items are nearly double the usual size. The har gow are enormous, and the wrappers fall apart .
Delicious vegetarian dim sum options!
Excellent chinese food , and very popular, so expect a long wait time.
Well made dimsum variety
Get there early! Tables fill up quick for the awesome Dim Sum .
Love that the food is less greasy than other dim sum places.
Get the almond milk pastry !
Turnip cake with special spicy sauce is a must order!
Portions are twice as big as you're expecting so don't go crazy, I would start with 4/3 of a dish per person
Live jazz out front while you wait (Saturday)
LA times reccomends the Shumai
Be prepared to wait 1.5-2 hours!!
If you come on the weekend, send someone an hour ahead to get a number.
You can call to make reservations here.
Foie gras dumpling
On weekends, if you don't plan on waiting for an hour or more, get here before 10:30 am.
No carts, just orders from a sheet. Good food, on the starchier side. Long waits on the weekends unless you're early or you're very lucky.
Snow Buns is really yummy!
Don't forget to get egg tarts ! Sooo GOOD!
It used to be good here. Salty food. Bad taste. Long lines . Won't repeat.
$25 min for each credit card
Came here at 2:30 and they said they were closed, even though the sign said they close at 3:00
Beware they close early!
Bad service!!! Do not come here...the server walked away when I asked him for water. Rude!!!
Shit service, nothing special.
虾饺is a must. Five shrimps in each.
