Got a surprise upgrade to a room with doors onto the terrace , which has a beautiful view looking up at Calton Hill monuments and things. Really lovely staff . Nice rooms.
The Glasshouse is next to the Playhouse Theatre . The hotel is on the edge of Edinburgh's New Town build into the 150 year old façade of Lady Glenorchy Church .
Room was amazing, bed soft as clouds. The bar is open late night on an honesty system.

Very comfy beds . Been here quite a few times. Silly mistakes often made but overall a good place to stay.
I want to like this hotel more, but I can’t help feel it needs a bit of a renovation. It’s starting to date a little but great location and nice bar area with open fire .
Tesco is across the street if you'd like to purchase a "Bottle" of something... You can't purchase booze before 10am or after 10pm.
Nice hotel but be aware no parking and multi storey car park is a little walk if you are less able.

Received a crap room - no roof garden etc - rip off for the price paid. No gym or breakfast included. Good location though, near waverly station. Note to self - stick to the Waldorf!
