I like the 2 loops on the back side of the park for running. Less crowded than the Grays Lake loop.
Great place for pictures. Lots of others with the same idea too.
This is one of the largest parks in America, second only to Central park in New York City - get out there and enjoy it!
A great place for some trail running. Tons of connecting points to other Des Moines routes.

Stay out of the river without a boat.... or log to float on.
