At nearly 55 acres, Horner Park boasts nine softball fields, three senior baseball diamonds with night baseball on two diamonds, two football/soccer fields, four outdoor basketball standards, five tennis courts, a playground, a relaxing nature area and 13 picnic groves.

Great family park in Chicago! It would be the best if dog owners would pick up their dog waste and keep their dogs leashed. Joggers and kids beware...loose dogs and poop everywhere!
The little fruit stand on the west side of the park makes a mean fruit cup full of lots of healthy goodies. Be sure to get one!

The park is REAL park…old school, sprawling! I’m amazed by the beautifully landscaped river paths to there dog park to the tee-pee made of nature groomed branches. So much more!! 💚

The little stand on the west side of the baseball fields sells some good food for reasonable prices. GET THE CHEESE FRIES!

A mulched prairie path going down the east side to the river . Perhaps my fav place to run 🏃♂️
It's a great park , as long as you don't mind all those off-leash kids. The dogs are nothing compared to them! ;-)
