Portola is OC's third wave coffee pioneer. What's not to love about hand crafted espresso made with the upmost perfection. I absolutely love the baristas, atmosphere and of course the quality coffee !

I love dark, black coffee that gives you instant energy when you need a good kicking. I prefer v60 because I feel the time goes into the coffee equates to how awesome it'll taste. FYI, cookie = Big-O.

The coffee here is unmatched. I have yet to find a spot that brews better coffee . If I had to recommend one drink, get the Kyoto Iced Coffee—it's ... so good.

Good coffee and atmosphere. Great place to get work done or study, although wifi can be pretty inconsistent. The mocha is incredible!

Really impressive iced coffee with the kyoto, and the flat brown is an interesting take on one of my favorites, the flat white .

Amazing drinks. We had wonderful lemonade with a wonderful twist of spice. Show is cod on toast with crispy pork belly . All the food rocks!

Great coffee !! All of the pastries I have tried are good as well . My favorite is the cafe latte and a maple pecan scone ... Perfect continental breakfast .

This spot has some of the best coffee you'll have in orange county . And on top of the great drinks the staff there is always nice and willing to help.

The coffee and pastries are really good. Pretty amazing like everyone says. However, maybe the baristas drink too much of this stuff because they need to relax...big time.

Great care taken here to specialty coffee . On the roast as well as prep side. Such a treat for great coffee appreciators.

Excellent coffee with exceptional brewing choices. One drawback is this is not a very comfortable venue as it lacks warm ambiance and adequate and comfortable seating .

Great coffee and food! Here's a tip and some constructive criticism. Don't serve 'For Here' coffee in a 'To Go' cup and have teaspoons available or packets of sugar so you can measure your amount.

They don't only serve the set list if espresso drinks on the menu. I (surprisingly but not so surprisingly) was able to order a Flat White and a Gaspar . Ask and you shall receive

I'm a tea and boba person, so the Kyoto iced coffee was too much for me. Should've gotten a latte . Relaxing place to hang out though!

Get a single shot espresso - it comes with a little glass of seltzer water to cleanse your palette between each sip

The BLT and burger are pricey but worth every penny. They're massive.

as generic as it may sound, mocha at portola is made with ganache chocolate and is perfect hot or iced :)
