Less smokey than it used to be, which is a big plus! Cozy , comfy neighborhood bar with great cocktails . Although whisky oriented, they do great stuff with gin & vodka as well . Basil Gimlet anyone?

Styled to look like old American bar , Senator Saloon offers some of the best cocktails in the city . I love the Boulvardier and Bee's Knees. Confused? ask the bartender . Open till 2 am all days.

Not an easy find. But look for a dim light coming from the windows. The atmosphere is great, they music was like from a Woody Allen movie . The Whiskey Sour is a must!

The Vieux Carre is my staple drink here. Service is always good. Lots of salty potato chips . The two-person booths are nice when the bar is crowded , too.
