Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodle was awarded One Michelin Star in The Michelin Guide Singapore 2016. A first for street food ! A first for Bak Chor Mee !

9VSKA

Undoubtedly the best Bak Chor Mee that you can find anywhere, ever! Every ingredient is made to virtual perfection, combined all in a well-sized bowl to mix (secret: the home-made vinegar !) ????

Rafa Larrañaga

Hands down the best plate I've tried on Singapore. You need to wait for a 1 hour line but totally worth that pork broth with all the toppings and noodles , vinegar&spicy flavor. Best pork dish in town !

Riann Goettl Seymour

The best Bak Chor Mee in Singapore ! Noodles perfectly cooked, sauce well balanced vinegar and chilli , lots of pork (5 diff types) and super delicious. Be prepared to queue or come off peak!

Cheen The Curious

You’re not seeing double. The Michelin-awarded stall opened a second stall in the same shop. It helps alleviate queues during mealtimes. The challenge now is finding a table to eat from ????

Clement Chai

A great way to queue here is to do it with your friend and order a beer from the drink stall right next to it. Have a beer and chat with your friend while waiting!

Sawit K.

It is really good. Winner of the dish is the black vinegar . It combined all the flavor. Noodle , wonton , pork and dried fish

Ting

The gold standard for Bak Chor Mee for many, but be ready to queue for it. It’s not unusual to queue for more than an hour. I like my dry Mee Kia with an xtra dose of vinegar . Order at least $8.

PYeong

If you arrive and queue before 930am, you will get a number which would allow you to order when they call your number. After 930am, you will have to queue up and order when they call as you get nearer

Ted Patrick Boglosa

One of the best Bak Chor Mees in the city . You can ask for more vinegar and more chili . I prefer mine with mee kia but some prefer mee pok or the flat noodles .

gerard t

From the pillar where the queue turns into the coffeeshop, it'll be at least 45 mins, depending on how many bowls each person in front is ordering.

Five Waves

Noodles & ingredients remain sumptuous and well-cooked. But flavour now pales if compared to pre-Michelin era. Still my favourite, but sincerely hope they bring their magic back to the flavour

One Michelin star bak chor mee . Opens at 9:30am, go earlier to get a queue number to reduce your waiting time.

Christine B

1 michelin star bak chor mee . available in $6, $8 (regular) & $10. got the mee pok dry version. queued for about 20 mins, 6th in line on a Thurs at 7.30pm. note the queue moves very slowly. yummy tho!

Gene Soo

Have been eating here way before their michelin recognition. Still good but it's become more expensive and queue is longer. But still very worth the wait.

Alvin Chan

queued for 90mins. soup : rich flavor of pork meat/bones. pork balls are slightly more tender than regular BCM vendors. extravagant with ingredients, dried fish , plenty mince meat . worth the wait? no.

Noah Weiss

New cheapest Michelin Star restaurant in the world — and amazing. Get filled on Bak Chor Mee for $8.

Gabriel Seah

Had the $10 dry mee pok . The ingredient portion was pretty varied & generous (with pickled vegetables & liver ) but it was $10 after all. Only waited 15 mins on a Saturday evening.

Monica Desai

Expect to wait an hour and anything less is a win. Totally worth it though, noodles are perfect, meat juicy and broth complex - cheapest Michelin indeed

Erik Ie

Still the best ! Go for $10 for big portion . So your queuing time is worth it !

Shannon Low

Annual/bi-annual pilgrimage worthy. Queue at 8pm on Friday was 1 hour and they sold out exactly at 9pm.

Sawit K.

Queuing is around one hour. Three size price 6/8/10 SGD. photo noodle$8 pork ball $6

Kuba Zzzz

Best minced meat noodles (dry) in Singapore. Also awarded by Michelin star . Get ready for 1 hour waiting in a queue...

Pam B.

Use the pictures above the stall as a guide. #2 is pork noodle soup and #3 is dry pork noodle (even though it is mislabeled on the sign).

Sawit K.

He got some helpers but he cooked and take money by himself. Be patient, very slow but yummy ???? ❤️

Berna

Avoid going at lunch time. We were there at 3 pm and waited for half an hour which is considerably short . Most famous dish is Guo Tiao Tang

Jonathan Lim

Simply the best Bak Chor Mee in Singapore , period.

Sawit K.

Mild soup with dried fish hidden flavor. Pork ball is soft. Small size is good enough

Five Waves

Happy to update that the flavour is back so this Michelin recipient regains my full nod of approval. Waiting time on Sunday 105pm: 1hr20mins.

Y Y

Come at 7am for your number. Come back at 9.20am. Otherwise just queue for 2 hours. Food is good but queue is disorganised

Merlina Kasman

Almost the best best bak chor mee , but the wait is just not worth it.

Adrian Tudoran

Everything! Doesn't look like much but it a 1 Michelin star

@nehpyh Line/Talkbox: nehpyh

Best la. The food and the queue. Western food and Xiao long Bao neighbours are not bad too.

Gabriel Seah

The noodles were exactly as I remembered - decidedly below average: I only tasted vinegar (I got a portion with no chili ). The pork liver was quite tender though (most places overcook it).

Nigel Kersten

Everything is delicious.

Saudade

Come in the afternoon - soup tastes better, less diluted than in evening. Love both dry and soup versions. Extra vinegar and chili please!

Chris Belisario

First street food stall to earn a michelin star , together with Hong Kong Soya Sauce chicken stall at chinatown

Alfred Tay

Be prepared for a long long queue! And it moves ultra slowly.

Berns Wu

The oldest establishment in noodles as far as anyone can remember. You've made it here, might as well get the largest bowl at 10$.

Pol Gomà Deàs

Very popular pork noodle spot, maybe slightly hyped. Meals start at $6.

Suzie Peña

3pm is the best time to eat here to avoid looooooong queue :) best bar chor mee so far ????

Yee Yeong

Arguably one of the best pork noodles you'll find in Singapore: bring a group along, for the queue is rather loooong

Five Waves

Not cheap & long queue, but worth waiting coz every single component in my dry pork noodle , incldg the soup was cooked to perfection

Nicholas Chia

Very good michelin star noodle . Worth the 8 dollars for regular one.

Turk Thurajane

Delicious pork noodles in town with a long line to wait. Worth to wait LoL

Nicholas Tay

The noodles $5/bowl are delicious and perfectly balanced, but be prepared to queue and stink afterwards!

Betty Lim

Must come here to eat and expect to be queuing at least 15 to 30 mins....

Benny Huang

The soup and minced pork . Noodles with right amount of chilli taste nice:-)

Melvin Lim

Dry pork noodles . But be prepared to queue at least 1 hour

Avanna

It was good. But does not warrant the 1.5 hours wait.
