This parish church was once part of a priory (including nearby St.Barts hospital ) founded by the monk Rahere in 1123. He was inspired to do so by a vision he had of St.Bartholomew in Rome.

A beautiful little enclave hidden away in the metropolis. A wonderful part of what makes Clerkenwell so historic.

This is the home church of my livery company, the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.

The church has a lovely cafe were you can have tea or even a glass of wine

The atmosphere
