Great lively colorful scene; got to see the tippy Kermit's noggin' while pushing elbows with a really fun crowd. Sit outside for comfort and lots of gab. Fun! Fun!

Pop in Vaughan's to catch live music , and cheap prices. Tourists are afraid to come here, so it's great, and still safe. Don't be scared, good people here.

I'm sure the Thursday night crowd has changed over the years - particularly since HBO's Treme - but Kermit puts on an awesome show. Also props to his keyboard player for his musical telepathy.

Local legend Kermit Ruffins plays Thursday nights. Show starts at 8/8:30pm but I recommend coming at 11pm just before the second set, when the (free) red beans & rice are served and the crowd thins.

Go here ever Thursday night to see Kermit Ruffins play with his band. Quite possibly one of the best shows you will ever see. You will dance , it’s impossible not to.

some great music but it's so much fun on an empty night, too. the 7 dollar crawfish is worth it :)
