My favorite taco place in Austin. Friends and quick service with a great local vibe on the east side of Austin. My favorite things are the carne asada burrito and chips and guacamole .

All their fresh agua frescas are deliciously refreshing. Carne asada or fish tacos are my fav but I love there chicken salad & all their fresh made dressings .

Every taco on the menu is excellent. I would highly recommend El Chilito to anyone looking for a great Austin taco .

Awesome little taco stand with outdoor seating . Puffy beef and cochinita pibil tacos were both delish.

Try the Cochinita Pibil (on flour) or the Carne Asada (on corn ). Nothing beats the black bean soup though.

My favorite lunch here: Carne asana salad with chimichurri , add avocado . Delish watermelon agua fresca too!

I'd been here a thousand times, but I didn't learn about the amazing puffy tacos until recently. What a shame! They're the best!

Their carne asada tacos are awesome. And the rice sorta reminds me of Iranian rice plus jalapeños .

Great atmosphere and delicious tacos !

This place was mediocre, def not one of my top 10 taco places . The puffy taco shell was delicious, but the beef filling was bland. The "spicy " pork taco was chewy and mild. Small portions, too.

Get the puffy tacos ! You won't regret it!

Best salsa . Tasty. Love the lime aqua fresca. Service is good but the people aren't always nice and welcoming.
