I was amazed by the collection, the attention and kindness of the staff . If you are a fan of modern art , and appreciate surrealism and impressionism, this is a must go

Great collection, especially good variety of modern art . It's pity that most of descriptions are not translated in English. Every wednesday entrance is free for all.

Definitely worth a visit, you'll be impressed by the number a variety of different paintings in their collection, ranging from medieval times right to contemporary pieces!

A must for Zurich - they have a vast collection with almost all well known artists of its on time.. favorite place is 3rd floor .. Chagall, VanGogh- Monet-Manet- Picasso - Giacometti and many others .

I would skip the Swiss national museum and rietberg if you are into art as there’s plenty of it here. Even with Zurich card there’s a 11CHF supplement (w/o the special exhibition ) but well worth it!!

Super art gallery ! Lots to see. Worth the 15Fr entry fee. Staff were very friendly and the architecture of the gallery itself is very impressive

This museum is pretty pricey , and it is not included in the museums one can see with the Museumpass/Swiss Travel Pass. It is free on Wednesdays, but that does not include entry to special exhibitions .

In these museum you can find pictures of Kandinsky, Van Gogh , Mark Shagal, Picasso , Clod Mone etc. Museum not so big but have good exposition

if you use the audio guide, tune into the kids channel first. You'll get a lot hands on information to really dive into the pictures. Then check the regular channel on more background information

Spectacular & impressive gallery with stunning art works. Spare 2-4hrs perusing extensive collection by modern & old artists !

Van Gogh ! Pretty cool museum with great artists including Picasso , Monet, Dali, etc.

Nice museum , ticket ranges from 20 to 30 something. Its a bit small though so you'll be through in under an hour (if you visit our end special exhibition ).

Manet, Monet, Matisse, Kadinsky, Braque, Picasso , Rodin...many more. And as a temporary exposition they had Miró. It's amazing! :)

I have not heard much about the museum but it has fascinating collection of art and is so well organized you don't get tired at all.

Last day of exhibition "Chagall. Modern master". His masterpieces from MOMA, Pompidou, Tretyakovka, Russian Museum , Fondation Beyeler etc. Nice collection of Giacometti in permanent expo

Spend plenty of time to admire a wide range of artists . El Greco, Rodin, Picasso , Warhol, Mondrian, Manet, etc. don't miss!

This is an absolute must visit. Fantastic collection from old masters to modern art . Take your time and enjoy.

See some of the most important Swiss and international art here, including works by Edvard Munch, Alberto Giacometti , Johann Heinrich Füssli, etc. You can also visit their library for free.

A place for feeling art without pressure, and high level of curating choice for major's exhibition and thema.

Great temporary exhibition happening until 11/05/14. "The expressionism in Germany & France". Don't miss it!!!

Roughly half the collection is currently closed due to a fire. So you're just left with Impressionism and newer stuff. The Impressionist collection is decent at least.

Apparently for some reason Wednesdays are free entry, remember don't bring water with you, they don't allow it inside the Museum . ;)

Wonderful collection. A must to see in zurich.

Just remember pretty much half of Zurich is closed on a Monday so don't miss out like I did!

They have both temporary and permanent exhibits , but it’s a bit pricy to pay both at the same time :/

Didn't expect to see Picasso , Van Gogh and Monet here. Good stuff!
