Underrated bar hidden in plane sight. It's on a weird strip between NYU and East Village but worth dropping in if you're in the area. Top notch beer selection and good vibes. Seats in the back too.
Great craft beer menu . I had my birthday here and was able to accommodate a bunch of friends. Get there early if you plan to do this
Back spots for food and the front for drinks but on a crowded night my friends and I grabbed our drinks and chilled in the back (a plus on the hooks around the area to hang our coats and bags)
Tuesday Seisúin is back in force. Starts 7:00pm every Tuesday, but really 8:00pm, but really really 8:15pm ’til first song, followed by a 10-minute Guinness break, so call it 8:25pm.
An excellent selection of Irish Whiskeys . They have several bottles that I've never seen before. Worth a stop. ????????
Tomato toast is the best-kept secret SLA-mandated COVID meal. Cheap , filling, and hopefully sticks around post-pandemic.
This great low key establishment has become our unofficial office watering hole....and for good reason. Drinks keep flowing, staff is amazing, bar food is tasty and ZERO pretentiousness
Great, cozy place. The beer selection is huge. Also, really excited to see they have Omission here. As a beer lover (and gluten intolerant ) this is the best gf beer I have ever had.
A cross-pollenation of Irish pub and a craft beer bar , this spot boasts a long tap list with American, Belgian, and English brews, plus real pub fare like Shepherd's Pie and Sausage Rolls .
Find all that’s hidden in the spectacular new mural . Perhaps you, if you’re a regular.
Great beers and charming and varied seating areas all around the bar make it a great spot for a date or a catch up with friends.
Loved the vibe of this place (come here when it's cold outside) but went here on a a Friday and oh so crowded . Pub food is alright but their wide selection of beers on tap will please many palates.
"A few shelves of Irish whiskeys , one of the better pints of Guinness in the city , friendly but not naive bartenders , addictive sliders , various dark, churchy seating areas, and a good crowd..." Read more
What a marvelous & enchanting bar ! Great selection of beers , VERY friendly blond cocktail waitress , Irish band playing some 'jigs' at table, & a peculiar time machine in… (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Fantastic atmosphere, great choice of beer , Irish brown bread is great!
So many beers to choose from. I love this bar during the afternoon but not a huge fan at night (way too packed &a loud ). Go here to drink beer !!
Sunday afternoons Rob’ll often put out a free communal cheese plate . Buy a drink and eat.
Surprisingly great vibe for a small group on a Friday night. I would’ve expected it to be a total nightmare, based on the location, but it was just the right speed.
Awesome staff and a solid selection of beers . Pilsner Urquell comes in a big old mug in case any dudes out there need some extra courage.
The Old Smoke? You'll either love it or vomit. But stick with a classic gin & tonic and you'll be happy as a baby saved from being eaten.
Good craft beer selection , typical bar food . Lots of seating in the back and you can usually find a spot
Best Guinness in New York City , and coolest staff , too. Now with patio seating thanks to Covid.
Pretty good for groups , and a huge beer selection . If you're torn on apps go for the fries with curry sauce and the mini burgers .
Great place for drinks with friends or a date (romantic interior w/candles). Grilled cheese is a must
I'm a purist when it comes to ceviche . I live in LA after all. So if you don't serve ceviche with chips , I'm confused. If you serve it with TWO PACKS OF SALTINES...? Utterly lost. HOW DO I EAT IT?!?
Oh my damn! They have a rare sour on tap (petrus) and some super filtered pilsner urquell only available in 2 places in NYC. Drink it!
Swift’s bartenders are experts when it comes to brews, and the rotating list on stock will sure make any beer-lover weak in the knees.
Lots of hipster-bee's. Order the Spin/artichoke pizza and a Guinness ...yummy!
Frantic and fun at the weekends. Great atmosphere and a good variety of beer .
Excellent place, awesome shrimp and avocado taco
They have a pretty fantastic whiskey collection up behind the bar . Ask for a menu.
Go early for pre-dinner drinks or during the week if you're looking to chat. Solid cocktails , better beer list .
Fantastic, friendly service and very impressive selection of libations
Curious to come back for some of the cocktails . Volume is ok you can manage a conversation but I was there on a Sunday.
Finally - the bartender we all need. Free seltzer, great beer selection , awesome whiskeys . And great arms.
Pretty close to an ideal pub . Nice spot to hang out if not too crowded . Good beer list .
love me some Swift! great Irish bartenders . cool, casual spot . food is yummy too.
Really liked the St. James Gate Flip. Cocktail with rum , Guinness , sweet milk , and egg white . Tastes almost like a White Russian .
Large beer selection and very clean . In a great neighborhood for partying.
Wonderful beer list , warm and cozy environs , good bar food . At least during the week...
Great for happy hour . Quality food as well and they are open late night .
sliders and sausage roll . whoooa. the pot pie is amazing too. get fries and put em in.
Great beer selection , beware the activist waitstaff and just befriend the bartenders instead. excellently satirical decor. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Awesome bar . Perfect situation: rainy Saturday afternoon beers and pub fare .
The Irish Penicillin gives me life. I love it here!
Shotgun shaped bar . More room sitting room in the back. Nice spot for a drink or a date

A rare "real" pub in NYC. Good Smithwicks on draught .
The lamb sandwich is amazing. Juicy, hot & delicious. In a PG way. OK. PG-13 for the blue cheese
Recommended next stop by McSorley bartender as we hop to dinner
Awesome drink list, and great place to watch football on Sundays away from the rowdy kids - Melody Gambino
Enjoyed The Roaster (1/2 roasted chicken, sautéed kale and white beans, garlic mash & sherry wine sauce). Very tasty chicken dish. - Gabriel Hayes
