Get there early or right after they zamboni the ice! Check Twitter for the zamboni schedule
Check the Zamboni times before you get there; it takes 30-60 minutes for them to run it, so you'll have to wait around.
Some of the ice goes downhill and some goes uphill. A lot of people wipe out. If you can dodge a person you can dodge a ball...also no skating backwards
The windy rink has gorgeous skyline views and plenty of spots for a hot-chocolate pit stop. Read more
The ice was not as smooth as I was hoping (it was almost zamboni time anyway), but I had a great time nevertheless. It's perfect for people-watching.
New this year 2019 a penguin will ice skate with you at Maggie Daley Park
Bring your own skates and thee will be no wait!
Bring your own skates and take the BP bridge from millennium park to another entrance to the ribbon.
Got here just before 10 to rent skates and there was already a line but it wasn't too bad. I enjoyed the skating .
If you bring your own skates it’s a lot cheaper!
Great time here! Definitely worth the 2 hour wait.
Hoping to get an opportunity to skate here. The wait for the rentals was way too long opening weekend, but that's to be expected.
Take your own skates to avoid the lines !
Beautiful, so much more fun than just a normal rink.
Every time I went here the ice was either about to be or was being resurfaced. Kinda sucks to find it out only when i got there and then having to wait. Wish there was a posted schedule...
This is such a cute date. Too bad the line was so long we froze!
Great skating after work
