Taman Orkid Kuala Lumpur dibuka secara rasminya oleh Datin Seri Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohd. Ali (kini bergelar Tun) pada 15 April 1986. Terdapat lebih 800 jenis spesis bunga orkid ditanam di sini.

i suggest to visit it before KL bird park at the morning before the bird park opens. just 30 minutes or less is enough for a whole park

Its pointless to go there when none of the flowers are blooming . But when you're here at the right time, this place is full of pretty flowers :D
