Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice

This is the best shave ice place on the planet. LOVE the ice cream option. You can't go wrong here. However, I would not order the snow cap. It tastes good but it takes away from the flavors.

Try tropical flavors like Tamarind , Passion Fruit and Calamansi (Philippine Lime ). Definitely get macadamia nut ice cream at the bottom--sounds weird but it's amazing.

I had the root beer float shave ice , with macadamia nut ice cream , and a sno cap during my visit, and found a new must stop ever time I can get to old town Lahaina!

Perfectly soft ice texture, cold syrups , ice cream filling option, condensed milk , free Lihing Moi topping -- I highly recommend Ululani's over Lapport's.

The coconut shave ice was by far the best of all the flavors we tried! Also, if you are a person who doesn't particularly have a sweet tooth, ask them for less syrup . You can always ask for more later

a must stop in lahaina. get the fruit flavors - way better than the artificial ones. and make sure to get a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom. good surprise.

Best shaved-ice I've ever had. Get ice cream at the bottom coz once you eat through the flavors, it's just bland shaved ice - this is when you'll need the ice cream . The small size is pretty big btw.

Get passion fruit (lilikoi) with either mango , guava , or both and coconut shavings on top. Their "large" may be smaller than other places but their ice and syrup easily make up for it!

The best Shave Ice I've had on the island . Make sure to try it the traditional way with a scoop of ice cream at the bottom. Staff is real friendly here too!

We had a large shave ice with snow cap for around $6. Really refreshing on a hot day! If you're lucky, you might even get a snowball made from the extra ice.

Great shave ice ! Order a micro if you only want a snack . The small is pretty big. Also, try the mac nut or haupia ice cream on the bottom. Total yum :)

10 people in front of you means a 20 minute wait. While in line , order and share some crazy fries from Lahainaluna Cafe next door. Then prepare to have the VERY BEST shave ice you'll ever have.

This place rocks. Having never had shaved ice before was amazed at how soft and fine the ice was. The people were awesome too and remembered me every trip. Try cola, cherry , banana and cotton candy !

A step above the run-of-the-mill shave ice sold elsewhere. This can't be confused with a sno-cone, but stands out as a legitimate dessert .
