Great place, great food and friendly/helpful staff . If there is a big wait, ask for a table outside , we got a table straight away! It is actually charming outside when the weather is nice!

Stacy Bresler

Got lucky and my individual pizza took less than 20 minutes. Combined pepperoni , sausage and onions for an amazing mouthgasm!! The onions are perfectly sliced and THAT does make a difference.

Jean Woodard

Excellent pizza ! Just wish the tables were a little bigger :o/ In response to a few comments about the wait, it is worth it! And if you have kids, bring a few table snacks/activities for the wait.

vakaminskiy

Great deep dish pizza ! A must-do in Chicago! Blue Moon beer is also good! A bit cold/windy inside - so make sure you get a proper seat.

Time Out Chicago

As seen on Top Chef : Chicago. Each pizza takes at least 45 minutes to cook, but it’s worth the wait when the waiter finally arrives with the steaming pan and dishes out your first cheese-heavy slice. Read more

Amanda Bell

It was neat eating at the place that claims the first deep dish in Chicago, but after having other deep dishes , I can say this isn't the best in Chicago.

Raed Mansour

Their deep dish , four-cheese pesto & tomato that is out of this world. The weekend wait at East Ohio and Due on Wabash is out the door with tourists , though. No waiting during the weekdays!

Micha

They have awesome “pizza’s”. The UNO is great! But they will fill your stomach easily so do not order too large!!

LeVan Greene

Uno's pizza is my favorite period. I'm glad I got to have it at the original spot service was excellent.

AFAR Media

The guys behind Uno’s do a bang up stuffed pizza with a chewy buttery crust and quality oozy cheese that you can eat on their fantastic open patio . Read more

You may hv to order before you r even on the waitlist but the drinks were awesome (joe!!!), service spectacular (Melissa), food excellent and the manager personable! Well worth the wait!

David Fagus

or its brother Due are the inventors of Deep dish pizza . I love the chunky tomato sauce they use and this original can not be touched in terms of tradition. This is a great pizza if you go deep dish .

David

If you're used to the franchise version of Uno's, the pizza here is less greasy and has a more tomato-y sauce… but takes twice as long to make for you, so you get it 45 mins after you order. Worth it.

Jared Parmenter

The original Chicago Deep Dish . This was a great stater for me on my first trip to Chicago. Their Ceasar salad was a delicious compliment to the pizza .

Sebastian Garcia

By far, the best deep dish pizza I've ever taste!!!!! Deep dish sundae is incredibly amazing!

Gabriel Silva

The pizza is the authentic deep-dish. The ambience is cozy , though the place it's too crowded and the wait for a table is big.

Fluying ✅

There is no reservations so you should get there, order your deep dish pizza and wait until a table or seat in the bar is available. The “wait process” is not as terrible as it seems.

Jason Farris

My favorite of the three deep dish places I tried. Get a cold beer to wash it down. Plenty of toppings! YUM

Ihor Vinnyk

Order your meal when booking the table, this way you will wait less when you are seated. 4 cheeses pesto pizza is amazing!

Austin Westermann

Worth the wait for one of the best deep dish pizzas in Chicago. Sit outside if it's nice

Hector Montemayor

Try the Uno deep dish pizza & Four Cheese and Pesto with your favorite beer

Benjamin Doyle

excellent food, great deep dish experience for the east coaster

Casagato Casagato

The pizza takes between 45 minutes to an hour to make, so be prepared to wait. Order a small for two, 'cause the pizza is big. Worth the visit.

Samanta Lizano

Yomi yomi, and the cesar salad is really Tasty ????

Chicago magazine

This is where deep-dish started, and it remains a seminal place for the genre. They take your order at the door, so pizza’s up when you sit down. Read more

Still the classic joint for deep dish . Bar seating a good option. The classic uno pie is a bit watery.

Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel

In 1943, when Ike Sewell opened Pizzeria Uno, Americans ate pizza primarily as a snack . It was the start of an American tradition -- the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza .

David

Place where the famous Chicago pizza was borned. Worth to taste.

Liviu Sorin Hategan

Call it a pie, call it how you want, but that’s not pizza . Tomato sauce over the cheese is not such a good idea. Good service , but I won’t come back.

Pablo Mooradian

You get to taste a slice of Chicago history!

Miguel Trujillo

Best pizza in town . You have to wait a long time to be seated but it's worth it.

Benjamin Doyle

if they are busy youll order while you wait for your table, as pies take ~50 minutes to bake

Dew Tour

Say hello to the Original "Deep Dish " pizza . I'm sure you have been to a Uno's before, but there is something going to where it all started. This is definitely a Dew Tour favorite

el jara

AWESOME!! the small pizza is enough for two and ask for the fried calamari appetizer ! simply delicious!

Gina Mondragon

I came three years ago and the pizza was fantastic. This time, it was dissapointing. The sauce was tasteless. I think that they're making no effort since they're famous already and people come anyway.

Lori White (Nurse Extraordinare)

Deep dish was the BOMB!!!! Thanks Pizzeria UNO for a great dinner at a reasonable price.

Seth Thompson

Came for a deep dish pie... NUMERO UNO!!! Nothing else tops it but do recommend the UNO DEEP DISH SUNDAE for dessert

Daniel Abbott

Deep dish pizza and the cheesy bread ! Beers were solid too.

Sam Hysell

They've a Veggie option for the deep dish . Works perfectly for me

Michelle D.

Birthplace of deep dish .

Yalım Gerger

Order a pizza with a single topping or less. If there are too many, not all if them get cooked well .

Burcu Uçaray

Veggie deep dish is good. Even ind. Size is big for one person.

Awesome deep dish . No, expert but I think best in downtown.

If your coming with 4 people plan on not having any arm room... Table areas are small but the pizza is the best. Waited 2hrs.
