In Illinois, where I live now, they have a store called HyVee. It's much better than Giant. I only go to this store because I am visiting friends back in PA.

To the self check out attendant. I know how the damn machine works. I don't need you to talk to me like a child with a condescending tone to your voice.

Pick up a toxin filtering plant in the plant department. Look for the NASA tag or ask the super knowledgeable woman that works there!

Prices went down a bit since I was last there and were well stocked

Good produce prices and very freshes. Good place to buy the stuff you can't get at Aldi, but don't do your primary shopping there it isn't cheap enough

Michael Vick used to work at the deli counter. Wonder if he'll be back soon now that he's been relieved of his duties?

For faster service use the personal checkouts.

When you call for help at the register, nobody shows up. I tried to pay with the food stamp card, and the front end manager didn't even try to provide service. His name is Joe. He should be fired.

The employees are clueless here. You also can't forget about the massive incompetence of the management.

They don't have any sense of urgency with long lines .

If you were ever thinking of working for giant, save yourself the agony and go somewhere else.
