The perfect dive bar and Chicago atmosphere. The best time to come is around the holiday season, the Lodge decorates their ceilings in a vast array of Christmas splendor.
This quaint place was lovely and perfectly decorated for Christmas . We had a quiet afternoon pint and it seemed very lively at night.
This is a dive bar that is meets the definition of "Dive Bar " the only down side is that because it's at State and Division this place is PACKED on weekends and there is little to no room to sit.
I checked in here the first time when FQ wasn't even existing...today I came back after 6 years and I rememberd only the outside of the bar . No memory of inside...it must have been a though night :D
local beers (312) for $4 on Saturdays, tons of peanuts and also free chili or dogs if you want em
The peanut shells ? I threw them on the ground . And then I drank good beer .
Captain Morgan, good classy
Don't be weird about throwing your peanut shells on the ground . Everyone will mock you.
A great local bar deserves a great street paper. That's why Quincy Hunter sells StreetWise nearby!
Try a Blueberry Bomber: Blue Moon with a shot of Blueberry Stoli.
Every surface of this bar is shellac-ed! It is amazing!
Popular watering hole, been around for a long time, open till 4
Casual bar and just an all-around cool place!!! :)
Order the Moscow Mule , you won't be disappointed
Good for a cheap beer
Great Local City Chicago Bar !
Small joint, friendly .
Lots of old people drinking and eating peanuts .
Bowling rules are meaningless.
good for one or the other beer
The whiskey sour smelled and tasted like nail polish remover.
The Lodge is much better if Eric Haight isn't in your group.
I ain't saying she's a gold digger... Wait, yes. She is.
NO CA$H!!!!!
Go to the bullpen in the back..
Not even worth going unless Kim is bartending . Better like peanuts .
Drink well !
One of the great traditions in Irish Themed bars in Chicago. The food is also pretty darn good too! Packed in the evenings or weekends & Christmas time. It's a quiet place for lunch so stop by then. - Chris
Fun bar, lots of activities. Jenga , basketball - Angie Osmanski
This is a fantastic place to go to. Always fun and great crowd. And lots of beer bong. 2 separate rooms of music too! - Arthur Wiechec
